If the aspic was prepared in a salad bowl, then it can be put on the table right in it. Only you need to decide in advance how you will serve the dish in order to arrange the solid components in the correct order.

In addition, if the aspic is supposed to be served in the same form, then the top can be made voluminous so that some of the products protrude from the frozen mass. From meat or sausage cuts, you can make both a large Christmas tree and arrange portioned plates by adding fresh vegetables and greenery.

Fir-trees from fruit slices

Wonderful Christmas trees are also obtained from fruits, which, like vegetables, are cut into thin slices.

For example, a kiwi Christmas tree is bright and beautiful. She will not only decorate the festive table, but also add a good mood.

Kiwi fruits must be carefully peeled and cut into circles, or slightly obliquely, so that the slices are more elongated.

If you want to make small portioned Christmas trees, then the kiwi circles can be cut in half and strung on a skewer so that the halves look in one direction.

Use grains, lingonberries or cranberries to decorate this tree.

A herringbone made of grapefruit, lemon or orange will add not only beauty and brightness festive table, but will also fill the room with a wonderful citrus scent.

Fruit trees are harvested in the same way as vegetable trees, and fruits are cut into slices.

If the circles are large (orange or grapefruit), then cut them in half into wedges.

If it is assumed that the fruit tree will stand long enough, then the slices can be dipped in gelatin dissolved in the appropriate juice before stringing, and the finished structure can be placed in the refrigerator for a while.

Gingerbread trees

Edible Christmas trees can be made from stacked on top of each other gingerbread or cookies.

You will need to bake octagonal or hexagonal gingerbread cookies, or make different sized star-shaped baked goods.

The size of such gingerbread should be decreasing: the bottom asterisk is the largest, then smaller, even smaller, at the top - the smallest.
And you can fasten them with a drop of very thick sugar syrup, icing or melted chocolate.

You can, of course, just lay the gingerbread cookies on top of each other (if they are large enough), but such a structure can crumble at any minute if you move it carelessly.

By the way, if before baking in the center of each gingerbread star you make a hole with a small round recess, then the finished gingerbread cookies can be strung on a wooden rod like a pyramid.

In this case, the structure will be durable, and the gingerbread does not need to be glued together.

The top of such a Christmas tree can be decorated with half a marshmallow or marmalade.

Decorate the finished Christmas tree with "toys" made from candied fruits, dragees, gummies or small chocolate figurines, securing everything with drops of chocolate or glaze.

To make a sweet Christmas tree elegant, you can prepare candied fruits from bright orange and lemon peels by cutting out small stars, hearts, flowers and other figures from them. You can also sculpt decorations from pastry paste.

You can draw “snow” from white glaze or white chocolate, and “confetti” from colored ones.

A beautiful Christmas tree will turn out if the gingerbread cookies are pre-glazed, dried, and then assembled the entire structure.

Flat gingerbread trees

Bake flat Christmas trees according to any simple or your favorite gingerbread recipe and paint them with icing.

Gingerbread trees can be made large and small, in different shapes and with holes for hanging as a decoration for a real Christmas tree.

Delicious painted gingerbread Christmas trees are a great original gift for New Year, which you can make with your own hands for friends and family.

For the New Year's table, gingerbread cookies can be decorated not only with glaze, but also with various cream, marzipan or pastry mastic.

Christmas tree-shaped potato cakes

Pyramidal Christmas trees can also be made from the plastic mass of some cakes without baking or sweet sausages. You can simply shape them with your hands.

For making Christmas tree cakes, the base from the Anthill cake, the plastic sweet mass for the Potato cakes and the mixture for chocolate sausage from cookies are suitable.

To make the base, combine the biscuit crumbs, ground biscuits or croutons with condensed milk and butter. Knead until homogeneous and the desired density - so that the figures do not crumble and do not float, but keep their shape well.

The mass can be dyed with cocoa powder or green food coloring, flavored with vanilla, citrus zest, liqueur, etc. optional.

You can also add crushed nuts, chocolate chips, chopped dried fruits, raisins, candied fruits, pieces of marmalade to the mass - there are a lot of options and you can experiment and make cakes with different additives.

Form a cone-shaped Christmas tree from the finished mass, roll them in the "snow" of coconut chips or colored sprinkles, or decorate as desired with various small delicacies, cream, whipped egg white, etc.

The cakes must be refrigerated to soak and harden.

Christmas tree made of profiteroles

Profiteroles - small balls of choux pastry which, if stuffed with cream, would become custard cakes (eclairs).

To make a Christmas tree from such balls, dip the profiteroles in melted chocolate. It will act as glue and connect the balls.

You can use white chocolate, then your Christmas tree will be "snowy".

You can decorate a Christmas tree in the same way as a gingerbread or "potato" one.

The Christmas tree can also be assembled from “full-fledged” cakes, filling them with cream or whipped cream, and then laying them on the dish in tiers, starting with the largest ones.

To keep the structure strong, prepare caramel and dip one side of the cake in it. The caramel will harden and glue the cakes together.

The finished tree can be decorated caramel threads, icing snowflakes or mastic toys.

Choose right away the dish on which you will serve the Christmas tree, because after assembly it is unlikely that it will be possible to neatly rearrange it. However, the base of the tree can also be made edible by placing the cakes on a muffin or biscuit.

Herringbone made of nuts and coconut

To decorate the cake in this way, cover its surface with a layer of cream, and then use a paper template to draw the outlines of the future tree.

Remove the template, draw the missing lines, and carefully lay out all the outlines with nuts.

Fall asleep in the middle of the drawing coconut flakes colored green. Add bright elements - "toys".

Such a Christmas tree on a cake can be laid out not only with nuts, but also with any small sweets or fruits. You can also just put a gingerbread Christmas tree on the cake.

Cupcakes and Cakes with Cream Christmas Trees

You can decorate biscuit or shortbread, cakes, or regular small cream muffins. You can bake the base yourself, or use ready-made cookies or muffins. This is done using a pastry bag with a nozzle.

The Christmas tree can be completely creamy, or it can contain a "surprise" inside - in this case, in the form of a strawberry. By the way, strawberries, in turn, can also be filled with jelly, or

Instead of strawberries, you can place a nut, candy, marshmallow, marmalade and whatever you like inside.

To prevent the structure from falling apart, connect the parts with icing, melted chocolate or thick jam.

The cream dyed with food coloring will add naturalness to the tree, and small bright stars and candy peas will make it beautiful and elegant.

Christmas trees from confectionery mastic

Christmas trees can be made from pastry mastic, which will serve as an independent dessert, or will be an excellent decoration for cakes or pastries.

They can be of a wide variety of shapes, sizes and methods of execution, because mastic opens up very wide opportunities for creating different figures.

Please select suitable recipe pastry mastic or buy ready-made. And then go to our page, which shows the manufacturing options step by step.

Fruit Christmas tree

A fruit tree is a dessert pyramid with berries and fruits strung on "branches". This option for serving fruit is also called a fruit bouquet.

The tree frame can be of several types.
The first option is half an apple with a core cut and a peeled carrot inserted into it.

Apple and carrots are pierced with toothpicks, onto which pieces of fruit (tangerine slices, grapes, strawberries, etc.) are strung.

The second option is a cake " Chocolate sausage"Or" Anthill ", formed in the form of a cone (you can do this with a parchment bag and let it harden). And then, too, chop the berries on skewers and stick them into the cake.

The third option is based on the principle of the Fruit Bouquet, when the base is made of inedible material, and pieces of fruit and berries are also attached to it with skewers.

The fruits used can be pre-dipped in syrup with the addition of gelatin or chocolate icing and let it freeze. In this way, you prevent the pieces of fruit from drying out, drying out and losing juice. In addition, the syrup can be flavored with juices, alcohol, vanilla, spices and this will add piquancy to the usual fruits.

But this strawberry tree is made by gluing strawberries onto a cardboard cone using melted chocolate. Simple, but how effective!

Candy tree

The candy tree is edible only partially, but it is very effective and hides a surprise - a bottle of champagne.

It is best to create such a Christmas tree on a cardboard cone slightly larger than a bottle, and not glue candies and decorations directly onto glass.

The cone is pasted over with tinsel or other material, and then candies are attached to it.

You can also pack and fix the candies in a special way on skewers, and then stick them into a foam cone, decorating the empty spaces with tinsel, bows and other decorations. This option is suitable for children.

Such a candy tree is a great New Year's gift and it is not at all difficult to make it. The main thing is to choose sweets that will suit the taste of the one you are going to present. And if this gift is intended for a child, then instead of champagne, you can use its non-alcoholic children's counterpart or apple cider, which is sold in the same bottles as champagne.

You can make such Christmas trees from anything, and on the New Year's table they will look elegant, spectacular and natural. Such trees (especially small ones) can become a decoration various dishes and snacks.

To create such Christmas trees you will need:
- fruits and vegetables to choose from: pickled or fresh cucumbers, cheese, bell peppers, sausages, oranges, lemons ...
- additional decor at will: fresh herbs, olives, olives, bright vegetables ... - half an apple for the base
- wooden skewer (about 20-25 cm long)

The process of creating Christmas trees from vegetables and fruits:

First of all, let's prepare the base of our Christmas tree. To do this, cut the apple in half lengthwise. Take one half and turn it over on a plate, and stick a wooden skewer in the center (the sharp end should point up!).

Next, slice a snack, such as pickles or pickles. One tree will take about 2-4 cucumbers. You need to cut it obliquely and not very thinly (this applies specifically to pickled snacks, since they are soft). Thus, the branches will not sag and a beautiful shape should be obtained.

Now begin to string a slice of vegetable on a skewer in a circle. Start with the largest pieces and work your way down to smaller pieces. String in such a way that the most beautiful edge looks out. It will look more beautiful if the skin on the outer edge of the piece is facing up.

Take the smallest cucumber, cut it in half and use it as the crown. Anything will do here! You can cut a star out of a carrot, plant a small cherry tomato or an olive.

Decorate the plate itself, for example, fresh greens will look great in this case. By analogy, you can create a Christmas tree from fresh cucumbers, only you need to cut it a little thinner, as they will keep their shape well.

Create Christmas trees not only from vegetables, but from fruits. You can use them as decoration for desserts.

Such Christmas trees are quite convenient both in movement (it is only important to take it by the apple, and not by the stem), and in use. It is enough to remove the top of the Christmas tree and it is ready for use.

2. Baguette herringbone

For a salad, three cheese, eggs, cucumbers, chop the nuts and crush the garlic + mayonnaise, mix well. Cut the baguette in half and dry in the oven, stuff with salad and put together on a plate, put some salad. We hoist our sandwich vertically and coat it with salad. Now we are making a Christmas tree - we begin to fasten (stick at an angle) dill, bring the dill to the top.

We insert the needle into a long thread, at the end we tie a toothpick. We string alternately tomatoes, grapes, shrimps, cheese and mussels. We stick one end of the toothpick at the bottom, then wrap the Christmas tree and stick the second toothpick on top. We make snow with squirrel and stick a cheese star into the top.

3. Chocolate herringbone

  • 60 g Extra dark chocolate

  • 1 nut for decoration (almond or Brazilian),
  • Powdered sugar (for decoration) - 20-30 grams

Preparation:

Prepare in advance a metal tray for making "spruce branches". To do this, wrap the tray with foil. It is important that the surface is level so that the branches do not sag. You can also use a wooden board wrapped in foil, but then the mass will harden longer. Mark 9 crosses on the foil, leaving 2.5 cm between each cross. Cross sizes: 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 cm.
You also need to prepare the base of the tree: it can be a dense, rigid cardboard circle, etc. with a diameter of 20 cm, wrapped in foil. Mark an 18 cm cross on it.

Break the chocolate into pieces and put on water bath... When the chocolate is completely melted and smooth, remove from the water. baths, stir with coarsely ground nuts. Stir everything well.
Important: you cannot use a blender to chop nuts, because nuts are needed in large pieces.

With the help of teaspoons, put the soft chocolate-nut mass on the cross of the base of the tree and on the rest of the crosses and allow to harden.

Do not freeze! If the kitchen is cool, you can cool it there. If it's warm - in the refrigerator. In the room, the mass takes longer to cool, but has a stronger shine.
Then carefully separate the finished branches from the tray (we do not touch the base of the tree, we will glue the rest of the branches onto it).

Melt 60 g of Extra chocolate until soft and add about half of 1 tsp into the middle of the cross of the base of the tree. On this "glue" carefully place the largest cross-branch. Press down slightly and allow the glue to dry. Further in the same order.

Herringbone made of mastic.

Unlike many other home-made trees, such trees can be eaten after the New Year!

To make mastic you will need:

Powdered sugar (500 gr.)
- gelatin (10 gr.)
- water (50 gr.)
- lemon juice (you can use citric acid)

Making mastic step by step:

Soak gelatin in cold water 15 minutes.
After that, it must be melted (in no case boil, so as not to lose its properties).

Sift the icing sugar and gradually add to the gelatin, stirring well,
until you get homogeneous mass white.

The mastic should not stick to your hands. If it turns out to be sticky, then you need to add some more powder,
and if it crumbles, then a little lemon juice.

In general, it is better to immediately use 2/3 of the total amount of powder, and the rest should be added gradually. If you have not dealt with mastic before, it is better not to add lemon juice, from which the mastic dries faster, but the color turns out to be whiter. To begin with, you can add a certain amount to the mastic butter or glycerin - it will not dry so quickly.

Mix the mastic for about 10-15 minutes.
In the end, I should be satisfied plastic mass, similar to plasticine.

New Year Cake"Christmas tree"

If you want to make the same edible Christmas tree, it's still better to prepare in advance.
You can make decorations for the future Christmas tree in advance, especially since they can be stored for a long time.
You can also bake the cake itself in advance and store it without seasoning with cream.
And you can fill up with cream the day before.

But let's talk about everything in order.

1. Stand.

We need a three-tiered one. Double-deck candy bowls are fine too.
You can also buy plastic plates of different sizes and drill a hole in them.
Wrap this whole structure with foil and glued the legs from below - 4 plastic bottle caps.
Well, if you do not have the strength for this, your Christmas tree may well be a cone.
Only its size will not be so large, otherwise it will creep under its own weight.

2. Toys.

They are made very simply and quickly - from sugar mastic. It is quite possible to do it yourself.
Or you can buy it in a confectioner's shop. For color, add to the mastic food coloring. .
The principle of working with it is the same as with the cookie dough. Only instead of flour, powdered sugar or starch is used for dusting. Cut toys with molds, and decorate with cake sprinkles.
They need to dry a little. Instead of glue for appliqués, a brush with water is used.

You can use your favorite recipe, for example "Anthill", only grind ready cake into small pieces,
to get a mass for modeling.

Here's one of the recipes:

1 egg
- 250 gr. oils
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3.5 cups flour

Knead the dough and put in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Pass through a meat grinder and put in slides on a baking sheet.
Bake until golden brown. Break with your hands.

Beat 250 gr. butter with 1 can of boiled condensed milk and 0.5 cans of ordinary.

Mix the chunks and cream together. You can add chopped nuts, dried fruits and raisins to taste. Put the mass, tamping, with a slide and put in the refrigerator for fastening and impregnation for a couple of hours. Better at night.

4. Assembly.

You just need to stick around each tier, pressing and leveling. It is more convenient to do this with your hands soaked in water.

5. Decoration.

For the "needles" we need green mastic.

Cut out triangles with a curly wheel for pies, but you can also do this with a simple knife.
And paste over the tree from top to bottom.

From above, brush with a dye diluted in water - for shine.
Glue ready-made decorations. Instead of glue, use a brush with water.
The Christmas tree is ready. You can sprinkle it a little with "snow" - powdered sugar.
