We put on strong fire a saucepan with water, place a colander or metal sieve on the rim. We cover with a lid of a suitable diameter. While the water is boiling, prepare the potato tubers. Peel and cut in half. With a teaspoon with a sharp nose, make a depression in the potato half to make a boat. Cut the bottom slightly for stability. This will prepare the required amount of potatoes. Add the cut out pulp to the minced meat (half), or you can steam it and mash it with butter or sour cream.

Potato boat recipe

1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly, do not peel them, put them in a saucepan, add water and boil in their uniform until tender (tubers are easily pierced with a fork) in unsalted water.

2. Cool the cooked tubers to room temperature. Cut lengthwise into two even parts, gently scoop out the pulp with a teaspoon. You will get a kind of boats for filling with filling. Do not discard the pulp.

Attention! It is important not to pierce the potatoes through, so it is better to leave a little pulp near the bottom, and not one peel.

3. Cut the meat and peeled onions into small pieces, chop the herbs, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Preparation
