Delicious manna on kefir recipe. Delicious recipes for kefir mannik & nbsp

Today I invite you to taste very tasty pie from semolina for dessert is a manna. Delicate, crumbly, with a light vanilla aroma and a crispy crust. It is prepared in an elementary way, from all available and very inexpensive ingredients. This recipe is classic and uses only basic ingredients. Their proportions should not be changed, since the recipe has been proven over the years and you can only spoil everything. But with additional ingredients, you can experiment as you want. For example, you can add dried fruits, raisins and nuts, or you can make a chocolate manna with cocoa. What I also like about this recipe is that manna can be given to young children (from 2 years old). I will not say that the product turns out to be very dietary, but it also contains nothing harmful. If you are preparing a manna for children, then you can remove the baking powder for the dough from the ingredients and halve the amount of oil - these products are not very useful. The mannik will turn out, of course, not so lush, but for kids - what they need. And you can serve a simple classic manna with jam or fresh berries and fruits.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. kefir;
  • 2 tbsp. decoys;
  • 1 tbsp. Sahara;
  • 150 g butter at room temperature;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 3 tsp baking powder for dough;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 2 small pinches of vanilla.

The recipe for the classic manna on kefir

1. Pour kefir into a bowl for dough and add semolina. It's better to use 1.5 cups for a start. From my own experience, I noticed that semolina somehow swells in different ways. For a glass of cereals from one manufacturer, you need 1 glass of kefir, and from another, you may need 1.5-2 glasses of kefir. Of course, the thickness of the kefir itself also plays a role here. We mix.

2. Leave for 5-10 minutes while we deal with other ingredients. The semolina should absorb some of the liquid and our "porridge" will thicken. On step by step photo mass as it should be: it is not liquid, but also not dry. If the porridge has thickened, but it mixes easily - that's it, proceed to the next step. If the mass turned out to be very thick, dry and dense, add a little more kefir.

3. Put the butter into another bowl and grind it with sugar using a fork. It is very important that the oil is at room temperature, so it is much easier to work with it.

I also want to say a little about butter. It is better to take a not very fatty oil, somewhere around 72%, so that the manna does not turn out to be too fatty. And yet - do not be afraid if during the baking process you see how a thin layer of oil "boils" from above. It will boil away, and an appetizing and slightly crispy golden crust will remain on top of the manna.

4. Break eggs into a bowl with butter and sugar. Pour in 3 tsp. baking powder for the dough, add 2 small pinches of vanillin.

5. Mix everything thoroughly with a fork.

6. Pour the egg-oil mixture to the semolina with kefir.

7. Stir with a whisk so that there are no lumps. Please note: the mass should turn out to be watery, in consistency it resembles biscuit dough.

8. Lightly grease the baking dish vegetable oil... I use a detachable mold with a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 6.5 cm. It fits the given amount of ingredients just perfect.

9. Pour the dough into a mold and send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes (depending on the height of the mold). Mannik rises quite a bit. Therefore, one should not be particularly afraid that he will run away from the form.

10. We take the finished manna out of the oven, let it cool slightly, then remove it from the mold. Despite its delicate structure, the manna jumps out of shape remarkably.

The classic manna on kefir is ready. Enjoy your tea! 🙂

A delicious delicacy that any hostess should be able to cook is a manna on kefir.

Since ancient times, the Slavs were famous for the skills of cooking this the most delicate pie, and modern chefs have already made many changes in classic recipe, as a result of which it turned not just into an ordinary pie, but into a real masterpiece of culinary art.

Mannik on kefir can be made with various additives, while the taste characteristics of the pie change significantly.

At a large number sugar, it is better to use sour berries or fruits as additives, and cream and sprinkles will turn fluffy cakes into beautiful cakes... One has only to give free rein to the imagination, and a simple manna will turn into a "crown" dish that the household will look forward to.

Benefits and calories

The main feature of the pie is the use in the composition mainly of semolina instead of wheat flour.

In the Soviet period, semolina was raised to the rank of the most valuable cereals that everyone needs to eat, regardless of age. Modern scientists tend to believe that semolina, as such, does not carry great value for the body, especially when compared with other grains. However, when added to the pie, it slightly reduces the calorie content of the product due to the replacement of wheat flour.

The calorie content of manna on kefir is 249 kcal per 100 grams of the finished product.

The size is not small, given the fact that the pie turns out to be quite dense and heavy in weight, so a hundred-gram piece will look very insignificant on a plate. There are secrets to reduce the calorie content of a product by reducing the amount of eggs and flour in the composition. Cooking dietary manna is possible, but the cake will lose its enviable splendor and sweetness, for which it is so loved.

Speaking about the benefits, it is also worth mentioning the vitamins and minerals that make up the manna. These include:

  • B vitamins;
  • vitamin E;
  • folic acid;
  • phosphorus;
  • sulfur;
  • chlorine;
  • calcium;
  • iron;
  • magnesium;
  • zinc.

True, the calcium, which is part of the composition, is poorly absorbed by the body due to the adjacent phosphorus content in large quantities. Nevertheless, trace elements are able to contribute to the daily enrichment of a person with active substances.

Put two or three tablespoons of light dough in a greased form in the center, then two or three tablespoons of dough with cocoa strictly in the center. Again, clearly in the middle, a light dough, again chocolate. Alternate until the dough runs out. If necessary, shake the mold slightly so that the mass "diverges" better. Bake like a regular manna, cut and enjoy: you will have a wonderful zebra-like cut.
  2. Do not be greedy, add berries to the dough - raspberries, currants, blueberries will very cool "revive" the usual taste of manna, give it great summer notes.
  3. If you have time and desire, you can decorate the manna with a “hat” of glaze - for example, a chocolate one: melt a bar of “black gold”, add a little cream, pour the pie with the resulting ganache. Magically!
  4. Nuts, candied fruits, dried fruits are perfectly combined with a pleasant, but rather simple-to-taste manna dough. Enrich it - and you will get especially wonderful pastries for tea.
  5. Mannik is a cake at its core, but who's stopping you from turning it into a small homemade cake? Cut in half and soak sour cream or simple apple jam- and the taste will already be new.
  6. Divide the manna dough in half and tint one part food coloring or juice of spinach, carrots, blueberries. Pouring the dough into the mold one by one, and then lightly mixing it with a toothpick, you can get a beautiful "marble" pattern after cooking.
  7. Semolina goes well with many spices, seasonings and herbs. Try adding cinnamon to the dough, nutmeg, cardamom, combine and mix. Over time, you will find your perfect bouquet - maybe your personal "highlight" will be lemon zest or ground cloves, a pinch of chili or dry mint.
  8. Mannica can be savory - cheese, ham, mushroom. They can be cooked with meatballs or chunks of fish, with broccoli or corn, bacon and olives. The main thing is not to be afraid, any experiment can lead you to unexpected discoveries.
  9. Figured baking pans are your faithful assistant in the preparation of original manniks. Heart Pie, Flower Pie, Teddy Bear Pie and Anything Pie - you won't get bored.
  10. And if you prepare manna in the form of portioned muffins, you get not just delicious pastries for tea, but also beautiful and convenient: you can take it with you on the road, give it to your child to school, grab it as a snack to work.

Recently, it has become fashionable to argue that all generations of Soviet children who grew up on semolina did not grow up correctly. Is it really "empty" cereal that does not bring anything good topics who loves her? It is customary to grumble at her high calorie content, a huge amount of gluten, unloved by everyone, "extra" phosphorus compounds.

However, there are also pluses. In addition to the invaluable benefits of the special nutritional value of semolina, there are other points worth mentioning. Firstly, one cannot ignore the fact that this cereal cleans the intestines well, "working" with an absorbent and sandpaper at the same time. Secondly, you should love her for phytin - a substance that normalizes the functioning of the stomach, improves the digestion process. Thirdly, the presence of vitamins and minerals is also important - even if there are not many of them compared to other cereals, they are there, and it is not fair to simply discard them for the sake of newfangled trends.
