Chicken meatballs with cream in the oven. Meatballs in a creamy sauce in the oven with cheese

We used ready-made minced chicken for this dish, but you can cook it yourself by twisting the same amount chicken fillet through a meat grinder, and in addition to ground nutmeg, you can add any spices to the recipe to your liking.

How to Cook Chicken Meatballs in Creamy Sauce

  1. In a large bowl, grate the peeled onion and garlic, add the minced chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper to taste. Knead the minced meat thoroughly and leave for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Wetting your hands cold water shape the minced meat into equal balls and fry until light golden brown on a greased vegetable oil skillet, then place in a baking dish.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Fry flour in a dry frying pan for 3-4 minutes, then add nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste and pour in the cream. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then remove from heat and pour sauce over meatballs. Send to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Ready dish sprinkle with any chopped herbs.

According to the same recipe, meatballs in an airfryer will turn out great. For minced meat, you can use beef, pork, rabbit or chicken. I was cooking meatballs in the oven from mixed pork ground beef.

Oven baked meatballs

You will need a pound of lean ground beef. But, as I wrote above, recipe- not medical, which means there are other options: pork, pork and beef, chicken - choose!

Chop the onion finely, and three carrots on a fine grater.

Saute vegetables in one tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Finely chop two cloves of garlic. If this is difficult, just pass it through a garlic press.

Mix the minced meat, egg, carrot with onion, add garlic, salt and pepper to taste.

We form small balls 3 centimeters in diameter.

Dip into a saucepan with a small amount of salted boiling water. Cook for one to two minutes after boiling. Pre-boiling is optional, but desirable. This will make them juicier. You can put the sticky meatballs straight into a baking dish. Place the meatballs in a baking dish with a slotted spoon. Filter the resulting broth (not all of it is possible, we only need one glass).

In a small saucepan, mix a glass of broth and half a glass of cream (or milk), bring to a boil and add the processed cheese cut into pieces. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is smooth. If the meatballs have not been boiled and there is no broth, take a glass of cold water.

Pour the sauce over the meatballs.

We put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. In this case, you can cover the form with foil. When cooking in an airfryer, this must be done. Cooking for 40 minutes. An airfryer requires a lower grill and a medium fan speed.

Step 1: prepare the milk.

Pour milk into the Turk and put on little fire... Literally after 1-2 minutes turn off the burner, and set the container aside. Attention: in order to prepare minced meat for meatballs, we need to soak the bread in milk, which must be warm, but not hot.

Step 2: prepare the bread.


With clean hands we chop a bun into a deep bowl. Then fill the component with warm milk and leave it aside to soak.

Step 3: prepare the meat.


Thoroughly rinse the chicken or turkey fillets under running water and place on a cutting board. Using a knife, we clean the meat from veins, films and fat. Now cut the component into medium pieces and transfer to a small bowl.

Step 4: prepare the onion.


Using a knife, peel the onion and rinse thoroughly under running water. Put the component on a cutting board and chop finely into squares. Pour the chopped onion into a free plate.

Step 5: prepare the minced meat for the meatballs.


Using a blender or meat grinder, grind chicken pieces to the state of minced meat. Attention: when using the first equipment, grind the meat in turbo mode until it is formed homogeneous mass... If you want to grind the component using a meat grinder, then be sure to use a fine wire rack so that no chicken pieces come across in the dish.

Put the minced meat, chopped onion, squeezed bun into a medium bowl, and add salt and black pepper to taste. Using a table lodge, mix everything thoroughly until smooth and leave aside to infuse. for 10 minutes.

Step 6: shape the meatballs.


With clean hands we collect a little minced meat and roll up the balls. Attention: the size of the meatballs should be slightly larger than the walnut. Put the finished meatballs in a deep baking dish, greased in advance with a small amount of vegetable oil. Leave the container aside while preparing the other ingredients for the sauce.

Step 7: prepare the garlic.


Place the garlic on a cutting board and press down slightly with the edge of a knife. Then, with clean hands, remove the husk. Chop the cloves finely and pour into a clean plate.

Step 8: prepare the hard cheese.


Using a fine grater, grind hard cheese right on the cutting board. Pour the cheese shavings into a free plate.

Step 9: prepare the greens.


We wash the parsley under running water, shake off excess liquid and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, finely chop the component and then pour it into a clean plate. Attention: it is not necessary to add greens to the dish. I usually do not add, only sometimes, at the request of the workers.

Step 10: prepare the base for the creamy sauce.


Pour chopped cheese, garlic and parsley into a small bowl. Mix everything thoroughly with a tablespoon.

At the end, pour the cream here. Again we mix everything well with the improvised inventory and leave it aside for a while.

Step 11: prepare the meatballs with a creamy sauce.


Preheat the oven to temperature 180 ° C... Immediately after that, place the meatball dish on the middle level and bake the dish for 10-15 minutes.

After the allotted time, we take out the container with the help of kitchen oven mitts. Pour the cream sauce over the meatballs and put them back in the oven. We continue to bake the dish for another 20 minutes until ruddy appears on the surface golden crust... Immediately after that, turn off the oven, and take out the form and set it aside.

Step 12: Serve the meatballs with creamy sauce.


Meatballs with creamy sauce are very tasty and aromatic. We always serve them hot. To do this, we transfer the meatballs with a wooden spatula onto a special plate. Attention: on top the meatballs will be covered cheese crust, but the liquid cream sauce will remain at the bottom of the mold. Be sure to pour it into a common container and only then serve it to dining table along with a side dish such as pasta, mashed potatoes, boiled rice, buckwheat porridge and fresh vegetables.

You can use homemade cream to make the sauce. Only for this we must dilute them with a small amount of warm boiled water, as usually this milk product turns out to be very fatty, like butter;

Instead of chicken or turkey fillets, you can use any meat of your choice for making meatballs. Only in this case, before baking meatballs, they must be fried until golden brown in a small amount of vegetable oil, having previously rolled in flour;

To make the meatballs fragrant and interesting to taste, it is necessary to add chopped Maasdam cheese to the creamy sauce.

Very tasty and easy to prepare dish. Minimum costs and very little time, and your family will remain well-fed and satisfied. These differ from ordinary meat ones in that they are baked in the oven, thus forming an appetizing, very tasty golden brown crust.

For cooking you will need:

  • Chicken fillet -0.5kg.
  • Onions -200gr.
  • Salt, pepper and spices to taste.
  • White bread 2 slices.
  • Milk ½ cup.

For refueling:

  • Cream 200gr -10%.
  • Garlic 2 cloves,
  • Hard cheese -100gr.
  • A bunch of fresh parsley.

The first thing to do is to warm up the milk. You can do it in the microwave, but I prefer it in a Turkish coffee maker. In a deep cup, chop the bread into random pieces, fill everything with milk.
To make it all soft and turn into a kind of gruel.

We wash the chicken fillet, cut into small pieces.

Peel the bulbs, chop 5-6 parts
and pass fillets with onions through a meat grinder or chop in a food processor.

In a deep cup, mix the minced meat, together with squeezed bread, salt and pepper. Leave the minced meat to soak for 5-10 minutes.

After the lapse of time, using a tablespoon and wet hands, sculpt the meatballs, and put them on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil.

Put the baking sheet aside and start making the dressing sauce.

Peel the garlic, chop finely with a knife.
You can use a garlic or a fine grater.

We wash the parsley, chop it as small as possible on a cutting board.

Mix cheese, herbs and garlic in a deep cup.
Fill everything with cream, mix.

In a well-preheated oven to 180 degrees, send the meatballs to the oven for 10 minutes.
As soon as the time is up, use the oven mitts to take out the baking sheet and pour the sauce on top.
Again we send our from minced chicken for another 20 minutes. A golden, aromatic crust should form.

To get meatballs in a creamy sauce, as in the photo below, you do not need special efforts... You only need to make minced meat or use a store-bought one and follow the directions for preparing the selected dish. Try it and you will see how easy it is.

Baked meatballs in creamy sauce with cheese

Cut the fillet into small pieces. Divide the loaf into small pieces and pour over the milk. Cut the onion into small pieces. Grind all this in a meat grinder or blender, salt. Add half of the chopped greens to the minced meat. Mix the mixture thoroughly, leave for 10-15 minutes. After that, mold balls about the size of Walnut... Lay in one layer in the mold.

Finely grate the cheese. Mix it in a container with the remaining herbs and chopped garlic. Pour cream over everything, salt and stir.

First, bake the meatballs for about 12-15 minutes at 180 degrees, then remove, pour over the sauce and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes.

Make meatballs in a creamy dressing with potatoes and bread crumbs

For this uncomplicated dish you will need to take:

  • minced meat (mixed) - 500 g;
  • egg - 1 pc;
  • onion - 1 pc;
  • heavy cream - 150 ml;
  • soy sauce- 2 tbsp. l;
  • water - 150 ml
  • potatoes - 1-2 pcs;
  • breadcrumbs - 70-100 g;
  • sunflower oil;
  • salt;
  • flour - 70-100 g.

Peel and boil the potatoes, then mash them in mashed potatoes. Cut the onion into small pieces and fry in oil until golden brown. Put the minced meat in a separate container, beat an egg into it, add onions, potatoes, crackers. Stir well before adding salt.

From the resulting mass, mold small balls, roll them in flour. Then fry the meatballs in sunflower oil until complete readiness.

Prepare the sauce at this time. To do this, bring the water to a boil in a saucepan and pour in the cream. Gently enter 1-2 tbsp. l flour, pour in soy sauce and salt. Stir the mixture and boil it lightly.

Pour the creamy sauce over the meatballs when serving. If you wish, you can add chopped green onions or parsley.

As a side dish for meat balls can be served boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes, rice, buckwheat, millet. Also pickled cucumbers and sweet and sour sauces as a flavoring touch, but these options are not for everybody. In addition, the dish can be supplemented with mushrooms in sour cream sauce...
