It is a pleasure to cook thin pancakes with holes! They are all good in their own way, but any housewife will appreciate the fact that they easily turn over in a frying pan and do not stick to it. But how to make pancakes with milk so that they turn out to be thin and tasty? If you follow the tips below, then you will certainly succeed.

Let's talk about the test

By its density pancake dough it should be like thick sour cream or heavy cream, it should never look like water. Also, the dough is always homogeneous, without the presence of any lumps in it. But how to cook pancakes without lumps in milk? There are some methods of getting rid of lumps that annoy many housewives when preparing pancake dough, namely:

  1. first way... Combine eggs with salt, flour and sugar and pour in a little milk and stir everything diligently until smooth. But now you need to add a little bit of all the rest of the milk to the dough and stir the mass without stopping, then it will be homogeneous. And at the very end of the process, pour vegetable oil into the dough, and you will definitely have thin pancakes with milk;
  2. second way... You can separate a little milk from all of its required amount and add flour to it. Now you begin to mix everything well, and only then combine with the rest of the products;
  3. third way... You will not have lumps in the dough if you use a mixer to beat. You can also take a whisk, but a spoon is not suitable for this matter.

If you decide to cook pancakes with milk, be sure to put them in the dough as a component vegetable oil and then your culinary products will not stick to the pan. In addition, oil consumption is greatly reduced when frying. You can change the vegetable oil to butter, previously melted, this component will give the pancakes a beautiful golden color and there will be more holes in them.

There should be no lumps in the pancake dough

How to fry pancakes properly

This process will seem difficult to many, but this is only at first glance and you will certainly come out with delicious pancakes with milk. For frying, take a frying pan with a handle, which you need to warm up well on the stove and then grease it a little. Some housewives use a special cooking brush to grease the frying pan. Of course, this is convenient, but it will be problematic to wash the greasy fibers of the brush from the oil.

Now take half a scoop of pancake dough from the bowl, tilt the pan slightly to the side, and pour the dough into the center of the pan. Now you need to twirl the frying pan in a circle and carefully tilt it in all directions until you see that the dough has covered it all with the same layer. Such manipulations can be performed both on the stove and on the weight, because the pan has a handle.

Now you need to fry the pancakes on a medium-intensity fire for one or two minutes. They should brown on the bottom, and the dough dries out on top. Thin pancakes with milk must be handled with care - they are tender and therefore need to be turned gently. Use a spatula, but you can also use a blunt knife or wooden spatula. However, you have to acquire skills in this matter.

The most convenient method for flipping pancakes is to toss them in the air. Of course, it seems that it is very difficult, but if you want, you can learn. After turning over, fry the other side of the pancake, it browns quickly. After the pancake is completely ruddy, just turn the pan over the pancake dish, and it will fly out there by itself.

If your thin pancakes with milk are constantly torn, they do not have enough flour, so add it a little to the dough. Separate a small part from it and add a couple of tablespoons of flour, and after mixing, combine with the rest of the dough.

If you fill your culinary products with filling, you can only fry the pancake on one side. But this is only relevant if the pancakes are then baked in the oven. The filling is placed on the fried side of the pancake, and the other side is browned in the oven.

However, in this article we will consider options for how you can make a "3d doll cake" with the direct use of a doll. You will make such a cake faster and your baby will have a double joy: after delicious treat will be eaten she will get a charming new doll.

Cake with doll Elsa or Anna step by step with mastic decor

To begin with, I want to show you a not the most attractive option. Of course, making a cake with a doll is no big deal. We coat the biscuit cakes with cream, put them in the shape of a skirt and decorate. We insert the doll into the center, having previously wrapped its legs with cling film.

But keep in mind: if you do not want to cut the biscuit, coat it heartily with butter cream. Or, cut off the extra biscuit, mix it with. Coat the skirt itself with ganache and return the cut biscuit in the form plastic mass, evenly distributing it over the surface. Then carefully decorate with mastic.

Then you will not have the same result as in the photo below: a little cream plus mastic was pressed too tightly. As a result, the skirt does not look lush and luxurious. In general, I do not want to offend the author, but you can make it prettier.

As, for example, here, a little cream, not strongly pressed mastic - it looks good. Besides, you must agree: the more cream, the tastier.

For more information on how to make a neat biscuit with cream skirt and decorate it, see the video:

And one more video with a very useful mk. Notice the ingenious caramel cloak idea.

If you do not want to coat the skirt with cream, just do not press hard on the mastic like this.

Although, of course, neatly pressed mastic to the base, appropriately prepared, looks better. Therefore, scroll below - beautiful options for cakes in the style of a cold heart in the form of Elsa and Anna dolls are waiting for you.

Elsa doll cake from mastic step by step

So, firstly, it is not necessary to insert the doll in the very center of the cake. You can make a dress with a train. Plus for more harmonious combination dolls with a cake (skirt) are better to dress up the toy itself in mastic.

If you have a domed shape or a bowl shaped like a skirt, bake a sponge cake in it. Then just cut off the excess, coat with cream. In general, shape the skirt and cover it tightly with mastic. Put the doll back in place using the same mastic (photo # 9).

Further, a purely creative moment. Cut strips from the blue mastic (in the color of the one that was applied to the doll), "shake" them from the edges in order to give the effect of ruffles, shuttlecocks. And gently, one by one, glue to the base of the skirt on sugar syrup.

The final touch is to brush the finished dress with an edible sequin tassel and decorate with edible white snowflakes.

Do not forget to make a shoe of mastic for the doll's leg, peeking out from under the dress.

Those who do not have a baking dish of a suitable silhouette should not be upset. Bake ordinary round cakes, coat them with cream (for structural reliability, it is better to secure them with wooden skewers). Then cut off the excess - move it. Spread the finished skirt contour generously with chocolate ganache (photo # 4). Let it dry a little at room temperature and cover with mastic.

Secure the toy. In addition, with the help of mastic, you can slightly tweak the shape of the skirt and make more natural transitions. Then make neat waves and ruffles.

The final touch is again sparkles and snowflakes. The result is a very beautiful cake.

You can also add some food coloring to the skirt. Or initially make shuttlecocks of different colors.

If such a cake seems too small to you, make it on an edible "stand". Those. cook first round cake then place the Elsa doll cake on it.

Video example of a similar cake:

Note, by the way, the cupcake tins with a hole in the middle. You don't have to cut anything. And in order for the dolls to fit snugly in the cake, you can additionally fill the hole with small marshmallows.

And another version of the Elsa doll cake from a cold heart. With a more strict, but no less elegant and original dress (it was also covered with edible sequins), plus the cloak is made of edible waffle paper.

The result is a masterpiece.

Anna doll cake from a cold heart step by step

Anna doll cake is made according to the same principle. We shape the skirt, we smear it chocolate cream and cover with mastic. It is also better to decorate the toy itself in color.

Neat patterns can be made using stencils and.

DIY cake doll with a "cream" skirt

Unfortunately, taste qualities mastics leave much to be desired, and not everyone can work with it. You can make a cake with cream the old fashioned way.

For a perfectly smooth skirt, use baking paper. Then use a pastry syringe to apply the decorations.

By the way, in order to make a cake doll it is not necessary to buy a barbie. See what an adorable birthday cake you can make with a bigger doll.

I am just in awe of this skirt made of cream roses.

In general, you can find many more inspiring examples. And I, perhaps, will round off. Finally, a couple of photo ideas, namely two in one.

And with mastic.

Happy birthday to you and the courage to create a beautiful cake!

The main heroine of the cartoon "Frozen" - Elsa - will come to life today in a birthday cake. Such a sweet present will be relevant for girls, since they are the fans of the popular cartoon. Our master class will show you how to make such an Elsa cake based on cream or mastic.

For this master class to create a figurine of Elsa from the cartoon "Frozen" you will need the following materials:

  • gelatinous mastic;
  • gel dyes;
  • knives and stacks;
  • rolling pin for rolling;
  • wire;
  • brush;
  • speedx - mass for creating casts;
  • figurine for taking an impression.

The master class recommends starting with the preparation of the casts of Anna and Elsa's faces. To do this, you will need a figurine similar to the main characters of the cartoon "Frozen", possibly porcelain. To take an impression of this, it is necessary to dilute a small amount of the sculpting mass with water, roll out a lump in your hands, and make an impression of the face. When the cast dries up, place a small piece of white gelatinous mastic inside, press it well with your fingers to form a clear relief of the eyes, mouth, nose. Let the workpieces dry well.

Now let's start creating Elsa and Anna figures:

  1. Prepare an L-shaped wire frame for making the doll's body. Frame height - 14 centimeters.
  2. Form the body and skirt of the figurine using white mastic. Cover the body with a beige mastic. Form the directions of the arms, chest, thin waist, straighten the back.
  3. Finally, shape the doll's face by first placing the head on a wooden stick. Use the stack to correct the notches for the eyes, nose, mouth. Cut off excess mastic.

  1. Make a pair of hands (brushes) for the doll, carefully model the fingers.
  2. For a dress, paint a part of the mastic in light and dark turquoise, put two pieces next to it, make a smooth transition, periodically rolling the mass with a rolling pin. You will get a kind of ombre effect.
  3. Cut out a square, shape the dress according to your figure, and fold in neat folds that imitate a real dress. To make the mastic stick in the figure, moisten it with a little water on the inside. Cut off the excess with scissors.

  1. Make two turquoise sausages, highlight the elbows and shoulders, and thin the wrists. After 15 minutes, transfer them to the Elsa figure, attach your palms. On the top of the dress, rub light turquoise mastic to simulate sheer fabric. Raise your hands up. Gently insert the head, on the face draw eyes, blush, lip color.
  2. Cover Elsa's dress with shiny mother-of-pearl (Condurin).

  1. Use the extruder to make Elsa's hair out of white (slightly yellow) mastic. After you squeeze out a bun of hair, braid it and pin it up at the top of your head. If the hair does not completely cover the head, shape the ear (or both). Attach a small part of the hair in the form of a bang.
  2. Attach lashes from thin sausages of black mastic using a stack.

This master class shows how to make an Elsa figurine, but Anna is done according to the same principle, only the hair and dress will be of a different shade.

"Elsa" cream cake

If your birthday girl is very fond of the cartoon "Frozen", but you have a problem with mastic, we suggest making an excellent cake with a picture and decor from cream. It is somewhat easier to prepare, there are no such miniature parts in it, so the whole process will take much less time.

You will need:

  • any sponge cake round, coated and layered with cream;
  • an edible waffle picture with a character from the cartoon "Frozen" (either Anna, or Elsa, or both girls together);
  • creamy or creamy custard;
  • blue food coloring;
  • confectionery bag with embossed nozzle;
  • edible snowflakes or self-prepared based on icing.

Decorating will take very little time:

  1. Prepare biscuit cakes in advance, cool them on a wire rack, brush with any cream, preferably not very liquid. Optionally, you can soak the cakes with syrup, chocolate, any topping and layer with fruit.
  2. The top and sides of the product must be leveled with cream, after which the cake is placed in the refrigerator for several hours to soak.
  3. After the cake is ready, prepare butter cream... It will take quite a lot, at least 1 liter.

  1. Color more than half of the cream in an intense blue dye, use gel food coloring for this purpose, leave the second part of the cream white.
  2. First of all, you need to place the picture on the top of the cake. A product with a picture looks quite impressive, but does not require extra time and effort. The lower part of the picture must be carefully greased with a special gel or thick syrup, start applying from the central part, gradually releasing air to the edges of the cake. You can align the picture with your hands, an iron, a foam sponge.

  1. After the picture is firmly attached to the cake, pour the blue cream into a pastry bag. Use it to decorate the sides of the cake.
  2. Decorate Elsa's hair, the side of the cake with white cream. Gently attach edible snowflakes of different sizes to the cake.

Additionally, such a cake based on the cartoon "Frozen" can be decorated with edible mother-of-pearl beads in blue, light blue or white, sprinkled with mother-of-pearl. Since all sports are designed in cool colors, choose the appropriate shades for the decor.
