Grandma's yeast pie with jam in the oven

No matter how attractive the pies on shortbread dough, unleavened sour cream or liquid kefir are due to the saving of time, yeast pies remain the most beautiful and tender. Especially open, decorated with the very "home" lattice through which peeps sweet filling... It takes a little longer to prepare such a treat than the options described above, but it is worth the effort.

Ingredients:

  • wheat flour - 500 g;
  • dry yeast - 7 g;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • butter - 30 g;
  • sugar - 50 g;
  • milk - 220 ml;
  • jam - 300 g;
  • starch - 1 table. spoon.

Cooking method:

  1. Stir the yeast with sugar and a spoonful of flour.
  2. Add warm (not hotter than 40 degrees) milk, stir.
  3. Add the beaten egg.
  4. Melt the butter, let cool slightly and add to the dough.
  5. Add the sifted flour in portions, stirring gently.
  6. Send to a warm place (cover with a towel) for 3 hours for proofing.
  7. Divide the increased dough into 2 parts. Roll both out thinly.
  8. Stretch one over a baking sheet or baking dish, making sure to make low sides.
  9. Mix the jam with starch, put on the dough.
  10. Cut the rest of the rolled out into wide, long strips. Lay them crosswise to form a grid.
  11. Beat the remaining egg, brush over the surface of the pie.
  12. Send to bake at 200 degrees for half an hour.

Quick pie on kefir with jam in the oven

For most people, one of the important elements of childhood memories is the manna: simple and light cake, which was prepared without the use of flour - it was replaced by semolina. It turned out much healthier than with flour (after all, semolina is the same wheat, only not so heavily processed), and even softer. The recipe is ideal even for those who have a negative attitude towards this cereal.

Ingredients:

  • kefir - 300 ml;
  • semolina - 300 g;
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • sugar - half a glass;
  • soda - 1 tsp. spoon;
  • jam - a glass.

Cooking method:

  1. Fill semolina kefir and leave for half an hour to swell.
  2. Beat eggs with sugar separately, add jam. Then pour in the kefir-semolina mixture and add soda. It is not necessary to extinguish, since kefir will do it.
  3. If the dough is too liquid, you can add a little flour or the same semolina, but it will need to be allowed to stand still.
  4. Pour the dough into a baking dish, send to an oven preheated to 190 degrees for half an hour.
