Blueberry vodka. Delicious blueberry liqueurs recipes

To prepare homemade alcohol or vodka tincture, blueberries should be carefully selected. Only those that are fully ripe and do not have any mold or rot will do. You can also use the blueberries that have been frozen or dried, there is no need to take only fresh for the drink.

If you use just such previously frozen blueberries, then before directly infusing them, you must completely defrost them and make sure that all the water is glass. If this is not done, then the drink resulting from insisting on alcohol will be greatly diluted, and an unpleasant aftertaste may also appear.

Dried blueberries should be used in half the amount required by the original recipe.

It is also impossible to crush it - the tincture will turn out to be cloudy, while it will take a lot of effort to filter it to an acceptable result - and even then a good result may not be achieved.

Alcohol (40-50 degrees), vodka and cheap cognacs are suitable as optimal alcoholic bases. It is also good to use moonshine, which must be thoroughly cleaned.

Classic blueberry tincture

The classic blueberry liqueur is very simple to prepare, and its recipe includes only two ingredients:

  • berries - 350 gr;
  • alcohol base - 500 ml.

Well washed blueberries are poured into a jar and poured with vodka, alcohol or moonshine. In this form, the future tincture spends two weeks or a little more in a dark place that maintains room temperature. At least once every four days, it should be shaken, but it is better to do it more carefully so that the berries do not burst and do not muddy the drink.

The result of this preparation will have a pleasant sweet and sour taste (the sweeter the more ripe the blueberries are).

There is another recipe for a blueberry drink with alcohol or
moonshine, which can rightfully be called classic. It includes the following ingredients:

  • berries that can fill the volume by 2/3 of the intended container with a drink;
  • vodka or moonshine for the rest 1/3.

Pour blueberries into a jar, pour alcohol and close the lid tightly. Then the future drink is left in the sun for 90 days or a little less, so that direct rays of light fall on it. It should be shaken at least once every five days, but for the one who will do this, again, it is important not to overdo it and not damage the berries. Then the resulting tincture is filtered and removed to a cool, dark place, where the container into which it is poured is left slightly tilted.

Sweet blueberry liqueur

The recipe for sweet blueberry liqueur made with moonshine or alcohol includes the following ingredients:

  • vodka, alcohol (40-50%) or moonshine - 1 liter;
  • berries - 1.5 kg;
  • sugar - 250 gr;
  • water - 250 ml.

Blueberries and sugar are poured into the jar, which are poured with moonshine or other alcohol and water. Everything is mixed, then the jar is carefully corked and left for a month so that direct sunlight falls on it. Shake the contents of the jar at least once every five days - this will help the ingredients mix and dissolve better. The result is filtered with cotton wool and gauze.

Strawberry blueberry liqueur

The recipe for strawberry-blueberry liqueur is very simple, but at the same time
can give an extremely interesting flavoring result.

Ingredients:

  • strawberries - 500 gr;
  • blueberries - 500 gr;
  • sugar - 200 gr;
  • alcohol - 600 ml;
  • water - 300 ml.

After preparation, the berries are laid out in a jar and sprinkled with sugar. So they are left overnight to give juice. The next day, alcohol and water are added to them, and everything is thoroughly mixed. If you need to get a stronger result, you can only use alcohol in full. The jar is removed in a cool place for twenty-five to thirty days, during which it should be shaken regularly. After the expiration of the period, the result is filtered. It is recommended to do this twice - with a strainer and using gauze - and then let the tincture rest for several days. It should be drunk chilled.

This recipe can also be supplemented or modified with raspberries or currants replacing or in equal proportions with strawberries. Fresh raspberries and currants can be served with a ready-made drink.

Blueberry is a fragrant berry rich in vitamins that can convey the taste and smell to alcohol. Blueberry tincture has a pleasant berry aroma and a rich sweet and sour taste.

For the preparation of the tincture at home, only well-ripe berries are suitable, without signs of mold or decay. You don't have to use fresh blueberries. Pouring is good from frozen and dried fruits.

To prepare a delicious homemade tincture, you must use ripe berries.

If frozen blueberries are used, they are thawed, freed from the resulting liquid. Dried berries are added in half less than the recipe should be.

Important. Whole blueberries are used to make the tincture. It is not recommended to crush the berries, since the pulp will make the drink cloudy.

Before preparing the tincture, the berries are sorted out, washed thoroughly and scattered on an absorbent cloth. Cover the blueberries with a paper towel to absorb moisture faster. Experienced distillers recommend slightly freezing the fresh berry so that the pulp fibers are destroyed, and juice is more actively released from them.

Blueberry tincture is a truly Russian dessert alcoholic drink. Now it's hard to say when our ancestors began to cook it. However, we can say with complete confidence that if you consume such alcohol in moderation, it will not only be tasty, but also good for your health.

In addition, making such alcohol at home is not difficult at all. Anyone can easily cope with this task. The main thing is your desire and the right ingredients.

Classic recipe

We need the following components:

  • ripe blueberries - 700 grams;
  • high-quality vodka - 1 liter.

To make the tincture really aromatic and tasty, you should carefully consider the choice of blueberries. Exceptionally ripe berries are suitable for us. They must be carefully and carefully sorted out in order to discard all spoiled ones.

If you don't have fresh blueberries, you can also use frozen and dried berries. Of course, this will not affect the final taste of the drink for the better, but it will not become critical.

There are two approaches to making blueberry tincture. First, you can crush the berries. This, on the one hand, will make the alcohol a little more delicious. But on the other hand, the tincture will turn out cloudy. In such a situation, it will be almost impossible to make it transparent. Secondly, you don't have to crush the berries. By doing so, you will end up with a beautiful, clear drink.

Correct actions during cooking.

1. Rinse the blueberries thoroughly and transfer them to a 3 liter jar. Pour vodka there, stir gently and seal hermetically with a plastic lid.

2. Transfer the jar to the pantry room and insist there for 15-17 days. Shake the drink vigorously every third day.

3. Strain the alcohol through a cotton-gauze filter.

This completes the traditional blueberry liqueur. You can proceed to the tasting.

Store alcohol in any tightly closed glass container in a cool place. If these recommendations are followed, the shelf life of the product will be about 3 years.

  • ripe blueberries - 700 grams;
  • granulated sugar - 150 grams;
  • clean water - 150 ml.

Correct cooking algorithm.

1. Pour berries and sugar into a suitable sized glass container. Fill them with water and diluted ethyl alcohol. Mix well.

2. Seal the container hermetically with a plastic lid and leave for a month at room temperature. Shake the container vigorously every 2-3 days.
