- grapefruit - 1 pc.

1. Take an orange and a grapefruit, cut them into rings, remove the peel. We clean the pomegranate. I'll start laying out the "turrets". First, an orange, which we pour over with Lefkadia Forbs honey, then a grapefruit, which we also pour with honey. Which fruit to complete the composition is up to you.
2. Take a lemon and sprinkle the dish with its juice. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds on top. You can garnish with mint or other spices.

On Honey Spas you can cook pancakes, or you can make waffles. This delicacy will be enjoyed by both adults and children. So, we need:

Honey "Forbs of Lefkadia" - to taste
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- salt - ½ tsp
- milk - 1.5 tbsp.
- sugar - ¾ tbsp.
- vanilla extract- 1 tsp
- Wheat flour- 2 tbsp.
- egg- 2 pcs.
- butter - 200 g

1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, lightly beat the yolks. Add milk, butter, vanilla extract there. Then gradually add the mixture from another bowl. We mix everything well. There should be no lumps!
2. Beat the egg whites well. Add them to the dough. We heat up the waffle iron. Pour the resulting mixture into it, bake the waffles until golden brown.
3. Serve with honey "Forbs of Lefkadia". You can also add fresh berries.

Apples baked with honey and nuts

Since most varieties of apples are already ripe in August, it's time to prepare a delicious apple-honey-nut dessert. For this we need:

Honey "Akkuray Lefkadia" - to taste
- apples - 3-4 pcs.
- walnuts - 100 g

1. My apples, wipe with a paper towel. Next, cut off the top of the lid, make a small indentation inside. Mix apple pulp with Akkuray Lefkadia honey. Walnuts can be crushed or added whole. We close the "lid". Top can also be smeared with honey.
2. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Wrap the apples in foil and send them to bake for 15-20 minutes. A few minutes before turning off the stove, you can unfold the foil. Readiness is checked with a fork or a toothpick.

800g. honey, 2 lemons, 25g. yeast, 5 l. water.
Put honey into boiling water and stir well.
When the liquid has cooled to 20 ° C, add yeast, lemon juice or citric acid and leave to stand for 10-12 hours.
Cool, pour into bottles and cork them.

Monastery honey.

1 kg. honey, zl. water, 2 teaspoons of hops.
Mix honey with water and boil over low heat for 3 hours. Put hops, a small pebble in gauze, and tie it in a knot, lower it into a saucepan with honey (a pebble is necessary so that the hops do not float up). Boil honey with hops for 1 hour, periodically, as it boils away, adding hot water.
Remove the honey from the heat and strain it while still warm through cheesecloth into a glass or wooden bowl. In this case, the container should be filled no more than 4/5 of the volume. Leave the dishes in a warm place (near the stove, battery) for honey to ferment. As a rule, it begins a day or two after the honey is boiled.
When the honey ferments (stops hissing), pour half a glass of well-brewed tea into it (1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 1 cup of boiling water). Then, without stirring, strain the honey through a flannel (preferably several times).
Strained honey is already ready for consumption. However, it will acquire excellent taste after a year of storage in a cool place.

Gingerbread honey "kalyapush"

550 g flour
150 g sugar
250 g honey
100-150 g water
2 g cinnamon
50 g margarine
Boil sugar with honey and water and leave to cool. Sift flour, make a funnel in the middle and pour in the cooled syrup, melted butter or margarine, add cinnamon, soda, mix well and knead the dough. Then roll out round cakes, pierce with a knife and put in a not very hot oven for 30-40 minutes. Decorate as desired.

Fish in honey with raisins

2 kg cod fillet
1 liter of milk
50g raisins
25 g butter
1 bulb
1 st. honey spoon
500 ml dry white wine
3 lemons
400 g sour cream
ground black pepper, salt
Boil milk, remove it from heat. Put in hot milk fish fillet for 3 minutes, after which the fish is gently squeezed out and cut into 6 portions. Pour the raisins with boiling water for 10 minutes, then drain the water. Squeeze the juice from two lemons, and cut the third into thin slices. Chop the onion. In a saucepan over low heat, fry butter onions with honey and raisins. When the mixture lacaramelizes, pour in hot wine with lemon juice, put lemon slices. Boil for a few seconds, reduce the heat, put the pieces of fish, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 10 min. Remove the finished fish, lemon and raisins from the sauce. Add sour cream to it, mix and pour sauce over fish.

Potatoes in vinegar-honey mixture

Potatoes 1 kg (small)
Vinegar 5 tbsp. l
Honey 1 tsp
Basil 2 bunches
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l
Olive oil 4 tbsp. l
Grated cheese 1 tbsp. l
Wash the potatoes and boil in their skins for 20 minutes. Drain, let cool slightly and clean. Cool completely. Boil vinegar with honey in a small saucepan for 1 minute. Separate the leaves from the basil. Set aside 1/3 and chop the rest. Fry potatoes in vegetable oil and season with salt. Pour in the vinegar-honey mixture and stew the potatoes in it. mix with olive oil and basil. Arrange on a platter, sprinkle with cheese, garnish with remaining basil leaves and serve hot.

August is a month full of Orthodox holidays. The most significant - the Origin of the Honest Trees of the Cross of the Lord (August 14), the Transfiguration of the Lord (August 19) and the celebration in honor of the Image Not Made by Hands (August 29) - have been called the Saviors since ancient times. Lenten honey gingerbread

Products: 0.5 l. honey, 500g. rye flour, 1 tbsp. spices (cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, ginger), 2 tbsp. vodka (cognac), 2 tbsp. starch, vegetable oil (olive).
Mix rye flour and spices. Boil honey, add flour and stir vigorously until the dough turns white. After that, pour in vodka and knead until smooth, then put the dough in the refrigerator for several hours. Roll out, add starch, cut out gingerbread cookies of any shape, put on a greased baking sheet, bake in the oven over medium heat until cooked, do not brown.

Honey carrot and walnut salad

Products: 1-2 tbsp. honey, 2-3 carrots, 0.5 cups of kernels walnuts(almond or peanut), lemon juice, salt, 2 tbsp. fresh cherries or compote.
Grate the carrots on a fine grater, salt and sprinkle with lemon juice. Add crushed nuts, honey and stir. Garnish the salad with well strained cherries.

Peppers in honey

Products: Marinade: 1 cup vegetable oil, 1 glass of vinegar, 1 glass of honey (if expensive, you can cook a thick sugar syrup), allspice and black peppercorns and bay leaf.
Pepper clean and cut into pieces or halves. Boil the peppers in the marinade for 5 minutes. Arrange in sterilized jars, pour over the same boiling marinade, cover with lids and sterilize for 45 minutes, roll up.
If not sterilized, then store only in the refrigerator.

3 tbsp grind honey with 1 tsp. soda, then beat 2 eggs with 0.5 cups of granulated sugar with a mixer and then mix with honey, add 2 cups of flour. Blind a lump, which is divided into 4 parts.
Bake each cake on a floured pan and quickly remove from the pan. It is difficult to roll out the dough, you just need to spread it with your palm over the pan, sprinkling with flour so that it does not stick to your hand. Cakes are baked very quickly, 4-5 minutes. It is best to bake at the bottom of a detachable form, without walls.
