The dish itself will not take so much time. However, the first steps will have to be completed the day before. This applies to beans: it must be filled with water overnight, and in the morning, drain the liquid and boil without adding salt. As soon as it is ready, we drain the water, put it in a colander.

The meat must be washed, cut into small pieces.

We take a frying pan and put the chopped meat there.

Fry it with the addition of vegetable oil. It is desirable that it be odorless oil. Stir constantly. It is not worth keeping meat in the pan a lot. Put it on a plate, add its oil and now fry the onion.

If desired, you can do this simultaneously in two separate pans. Add chopped cloves of garlic, spices to the onion and fry over low heat for about half a minute and do not forget to constantly stir.

Put the meat in a pan with onions and spices, then add chopped tomatoes. You can also add some boiled water. We cover the lid and simmer the contents for a short time.

Now we can remember the beans. We put it in a convenient saucepan, then put the meat with spices and onions there. Add Bay leaf, 400 ml of hot boiled water.

We put on fire and cook for about 2/3 hours.

A minute before turning off, add sugar, chopped herbs, vinegar and mix.

You can use any plant you like as greenery, but cilantro is preferred in Mexico.
