We remove the finished puff pastry from the freezer in advance and defrost it. Wash the berries well and peel them of twigs and leaves right under running water. After, we cut the large fruits, and leave the small ones as they are, filling them with sugar, and mix. Excess juice, which is formed after 10-15 minutes, must be drained, and starch must be added to the berries (this is done so that during baking, the starch becomes a connecting link for the berries).

We take a baking dish, I use a large baking sheet, grease with oil and set aside for now. Roll out the puff pastry carefully in one direction, put one layer on a baking sheet so that the edges come out a little, and leave the other on the table and make cuts in it.

Put the berries in starch and sugar on the dough,

cover the top with a cut layer, and pinch the edges from all sides. The slots in the top layer of the dough should open slightly to create holes. Gently grease the future puff pastry pie with berries with a beaten egg

and put in an oven preheated to 200 ° C, baking for 20-25 minutes.
