Perhaps the main gastronomic expectation from the naba this year was the new Perchini restaurant - and this despite the fact that there are already three network establishments in the city. Interest was fueled by scale. The new "Perchini" is gigantic: a two-story building with an open terrace at the top is piled up on Mayakovsky Spusk. We tested the place and found out how it differs from its relatives located in the city, what is the feature of Italian piadinas, and most importantly, will the project be seasonal or year-round.

Interior for everyone

The opening of "Perchini" opposite the hotel "Volga" became known in January. At the same time, we learned that the new restaurant would be the largest of its kind in Samara and the second largest in the country. At the same time, the institution has two halls with panoramic windows and an unobstructed view of the Volga, which will work all year round (!). Even higher is an outdoor terrace that can accommodate one and a half hundred people. By our visit, the skies, however, turned out to be closed - we understand the desire of the guys to start, if not by the beginning of the World Cup, then at least by the playoffs, and we hope to see the roof next time.

Perchini is managed by the Polyana Group, which has already set up the Carrie Summer coffee shop on the waterfront - a pop-up point with takeaway drinks and a menu specially adapted for walks along the Volga. The appearance of a large company restaurant nearby is not surprising: today only Dachnaya can compete with the embankment in terms of popularity. The fact that out of all its establishments Polyana Group has relied on Perchini is also not surprising: the concept of a family restaurant organically fits into the format of the Volga coast itself - here they walk, sunbathe and go shooting with the whole family, and then eat.

That is why one of the obvious advantages of the restaurant is its own original children's area in the "backyard": swings and slides were installed on the adjacent territory. For especially anxious parents, a children's room was also equipped in the hall.

It's strange to say this in 2018, but the new Perch will have a wardrobe. In addition, it should be noted that here, almost the first on the naba, they made a small step, obvious to everyone, but still not obvious to many establishments in the neighborhood - they equipped toilets for people with limited mobility.

Otherwise, "Pepper" on the nabe is our good friend, who is not inclined to radical changes in appearance. Everything is in place here: checkered sofas, tables made of wood and finishes in antique pine color, shelving with jars and greens in pots. The accents in the decor were the wall with the commandment “The first rule of Italy: if you don’t know what to say, say “Pasta” and painted farfalle, as well as a knight’s table for five people in the center of the hall on the first floor.

Italian festival

The kitchen was headed by Alexei Klyushnikov - now the former chef of "Perchini" on Novo-Vokzalnaya. The new "Perchini" has a Grill & Wine format menu - that is, the same as on Dachnaya, 2 and on Moskovsky Highway, 252, and everything has been clear with it for a long time. Of the recent novelties, turkey fillet schnitzel (435 rubles) and Masaccio steak of marbled beef with lightly salted cucumbers (555 rubles), Thai chicken with cashew nuts (370 rubles) and stewed beef cheeks (420 rubles), tagliata beef (475 rubles) or chicken (370 rubles) and sea bass (660 rubles). Hot chicken lasagne (299 rubles) and ratatouille (289 rubles) are served.

Frutti di mare pasta with seafood costs 439 rubles, Norma with eggplant, tomatoes and ricotta cheese - 279 rubles, Braziolle with smoked chicken, spinach and pine nuts - 345 rubles. Pizza prices still start at 229 rubles for a small Carbonara.

This summer, all the establishments of the chain, including Perch on Naba, introduced a festival menu - with frozen Italian ice cream and a bunch of versions of cold drinks - in general, the very thing for +35 outside the window, and especially for an establishment near the water.

The ringleaders of the summer mafia were piadinas - flat cakes made of thin dough with different fillings. Perchini prepares a variant with chili beef (405 rubles), chicken and mushrooms (385 rubles) and Caprese with tomatoes and mozzarella (375 rubles). To exterminate the heat called gazpacho - tomato (255 rubles) and cucumber (235 rubles). The same goal is pursued by a wide map of cold drinks. The bar prepares lemonades - lavender, lingonberry with thyme or lime with lemongrass (all for 185 rubles), as well as mojito - classic (from 209 rubles), cherry, blueberry or mango (from 219 rubles). Any option can be made alcoholic. Stone Lady, the ice tale of this festival menu - ice coffee: mint with chocolate and orange with caramel (175 rubles each).

So far, only lemonades are available from the festival special offer on Naba - the rest of the novelties will appear within a few weeks. At the request of the editors, cakes and ice cream were prepared in advance - we tested the menu before anyone else and in your name.

Semifredo (225 rubles)

Our order includes piadinas with shrimp and squid (395 rubles), with salami (405 rubles) and sorrel (345 rubles), as well as the Italian cold dessert semifreddo (225 rubles), orange lemonade with tangerine and strawberries (185 rubles) and ice - coffee with cherry and cherry flavor.

Our hierarchy of piadinas - unexpectedly - was headed by the version with sorrel: the combination of tender dough with cottage cheese cream and blackcurrant confiture turned out to be simple and classy. But the option with salami, due to the bright taste of smoked meats, is more like a regular pizza.
