I continue to experiment with different smoothies. I love them very much - for their simplicity of preparation, for their versatility and always excellent taste. Today we are making smoothies with coconut milk- tender and, at the same time, satisfying.

This is a wonderful option for a summer breakfast! I already present this cocktail in the "company" of toast with cream cheese and, cereal with yogurt and fresh raspberry puree, crispy or whole grain muffins. Such a drink is prepared quickly and simply - even in a hurry going to work, you will have time to have breakfast.

Why is coconut milk good for you?

Before moving on to the recipe itself, I want to talk about the benefits of coconut milk for the body. Do not confuse it with coconut water: it is initially found inside the nuts. And milk is prepared by mixing the crushed pulp with water (in fact, any other vegetable milk is prepared in the same way). This means that milk contains the same useful substances as coconut pulp: calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, vitamins E and C, amino acids and healthy fats.

Thanks to this composition, coconut milk promotes good digestion, perfectly satisfies hunger and thirst, has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the liver and pancreas, soothes the nerves and improves mood, and with regular use it also improves skin condition.
Plus, there is no lactose in coconut milk. And if you are on bad terms with her, you can safely replace cow's milk coconut in most recipes, except for today - everything is already perfect in it.

How to make a banana mint smoothie with coconut milk

Ingredients:

(for 2 servings)

Coconut milk - 250 ml.,
ripe banana - 2 pcs.,
mint - to taste
agave syrup or honey (optional) - 1-2 tsp,
flaxseeds - ½ tsp,
lemon juice - 1 tsp

Preparation:

Composition:

Coconut milk 200 ml
