  • Yeast-free puff pastry - 1 pack (2 layers, ready-made)

  • Sugar - 3 tbsp. spoons (it is better to use brown, with a caramel flavor)
  • Vanillin - to taste
  • Cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • Butter - 50 g
  • Egg - 1 pc. (to grease the cake on top)
  • Baking paper

How to make apple pie from puff pastry, a la apple strudel:

  1. Peel the apples. You can leave the rind, but if it is too tough, remove it. Cut into small cubes.
  2. Heat the butter in a frying pan. Pour in the sliced ​​apples. Pour in sugar, and after a minute, cinnamon and vanillin. Stir and cover for 10 minutes, reducing heat to medium. The apples should be stewed a little and soften. After that, remove the lid, add fire and evaporate excess moisture for 5-7 minutes. You should get an apple mass.
