Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • Chicken breasts (fillet) - 2 halves;

  • Ground pepper;
  • Salt.

How to cook chicken chops with pineapple and cheese in the oven

1. Halves chicken breasts without skin, rinse and wipe with a paper towel. We lay them down with the side on which the skin was, and carefully cut the thick fleshy parts with a sharp knife. So the thick parts of the fillet open up and when beaten, the meat will turn out to be of the same thickness.

2. Sprinkle the prepared halves with salt, ground pepper, transfer one by one to the board, cover with a plastic bag or a piece food film and beat well.

3. Send the chicken chops to the hot oil and fry on a high temperature for 2-3 minutes. Do not fry too much, otherwise the white meat will become dry. We put the oven at 220 degrees.

4. Turn over to the other side and cook for another 2 minutes. It will take 5 minutes for the beaten fillet to be fully cooked and remain juicy.

5. Transfer the fried halves to baking paper or foil.

6. Place canned pineapple rings on top.

7. Coarsely rub hard cheese, sprinkle rings and open fillets. We put in the oven for 10-12 minutes. The cheese should melt and be covered with a brown fragrant crust.

8. Take out the most delicious tender Hawaiian pineapple chops, put them on a plate with bright lettuce leaves and serve immediately with your favorite side dish (boiled rice, mashed potatoes are perfect) and light salads from vegetables.

Cooking tips:

  • Chicken with pineapples will turn out even more aromatic if the fillet is supplemented with dried herbs. Basil, thyme, marjoram, rosemary, or oregano work well.
  • Hard cheese can be used any to taste or replaced with Mozzarella or Suluguni cheese (melts perfectly).
  • Canned pineapple rings can be substituted for fresh ones. We clean the fresh fruit, cut into circles and cut out the core.

Chicken fillet in Hawaiian

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken fillet (I have thigh fillet)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 4 tsp chopped ginger
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 4 small garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp hot red pepper flakes
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

1 cup = 240 ml

Cooking

Mix the ingredients for the marinade. Add chicken fillet. Cover with marinade. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 4-24 hours.

Remove the chicken from the refrigerator 20-30 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature.

Grilled:

Grill over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side. For chicken breasts, increase the time by 2-4 minutes.

Transfer to a dish, cover with foil and let stand for about 5 minutes.

In the oven:

You can use the broil / grill mode (225-250 C / 450-500F-broil). Keep the baking sheet closer to the heating element. Cooking time will be approximately 10-12 minutes. Turn over once.

Remove from oven, cover with foil and let rest for about 5 minutes.

  • Advice:

You can make a double batch. Leave one to marinate to use immediately, put the other in the freezer right in the marinade. When defrosting the fillets, thaw in the refrigerator (approximately 24 hours). As it thaws, the chicken will marinate.

For the marinade, it is convenient to use a plastic bag.

Marinating utensils should be glass (ideally), enameled, stainless steel or food grade plastic.

This dish will help diversify the taste sensations, it turns out great. While I baked it in the oven, there was such an aroma in the kitchen that I counted the minutes until the end of the cooking process. I was salivating, I tried it, well, you just lick your fingers. How delicious and so easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken fillet,
  • 6 large potatoes
  • 300 gr mozzarella,
  • 150 gr hard cheese,
  • 300 gr canned pineapple,
  • salt, pepper, Italian herbs to taste

I cut the chicken into pieces, lightly tap the meat with a knife, this will add softness. I cut potatoes into wedges. Now I will marinate the potatoes and season the bird with spices. I add salt, pepper, seasonings to both products to taste. Pour vegetable oil into potatoes, mix everything.

I take a baking sheet, put potatoes in it with the bottom layer, meat on top.

I cover the dish with mozzarella cheese.

For 20-30 minutes I put the baking sheet in a preheated oven with a temperature of 180 degrees.

After 30 minutes, I take out the dish from the oven, the mozzarella has melted. Sprinkle with grated hard cheese, and send it to the oven for 20 minutes.
