Yoghurts in the polaris multicooker. Yoghurt in a multicooker - prepare your favorite dairy dessert in a smart device Cooking yogurt in a multicooker polaris

Multicookers are quite firmly included in our lives, helping not only to save time on cooking, but to make them tasty, fragrant and very useful for our body.

It will help to prepare both the first, second, and dessert. And this kitchen helper is able to prepare wonderful natural yogurt, which is great for breakfast or desserts, both for adults and children.

Making yogurt in a Polaris slow cooker is not difficult, and only two ingredients are enough. So, here is a small list of the necessary ingredients for the yogurt that we will prepare.

Yogurt recipe in Polaris slow cooker

  • Liter of UHT milk (choose any brand)
  • 1 jar of yogurt without additives (you can also take any company). You can take dry sourdough.

Milk should be poured into a saucepan or ladle and warmed up a little.

If you are using a dry starter, dilute it in 100 ml of milk so that there are no lumps, and then pour it into the rest of the milk. Now pour the mixture into jars.

Yogurt jars must be washed and roasted in the oven. The best option would be to use glass jars from baby food, they are small, they are convenient to put in a slow cooker and store in the refrigerator.

Pour a cup of water on the bottom of the mulvar bowl and turn on the “yogurt” mode, if there is none, you can use the “keep hot dish” mode. Now we put jars of yogurt in water, it should reach the neck of the jars. Many housewives, in order to avoid scratching the bottom of the polaris multicooker, use a special towel that is placed on the bottom of the bowl.

Now the slow cooker can be closed and left to cook up to 9 hours. You can put yogurt at night - in the morning there will be a wonderful breakfast.

After the specified time has passed, the jars should be put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, and then proceed to the morning meal.

By the way, if you like chocolate, you can add a couple of tablespoons of cocoa before pouring yogurt into jars into milk and then you get chocolate yogurt. After cooking, you can introduce fresh or frozen fruits that will cheer you up and deliver a lot of useful vitamins and minerals to the body.

Please note that since the yogurt prepared in our slow cooker is natural, its shelf life is no more than 3 days, if during this time it has not been eaten, do not rush to throw it away, it will come down for a pancake test. Enjoy your meal.

Oh, homemade yogurt, who doesn't love it. Homemade yogurt is not only delicious, but also very healthy. And today I will tell you how to make it.

I used to make yogurt in a yogurt maker, I still have it at home, it works great. Unlike a multicooker, it is silent. I will cook yogurt in the Polaris PMC 0517AD multicooker in Yogurt mode. Therefore, in order for you to be able to cook yogurt in your slow cooker, make sure that your slow cooker can cook yogurt, which should be written in the instructions. The fact is that when preparing yogurt, it is necessary to observe a thermal solution of 38-40 degrees for all 8-10 hours. Below it will not be enough, above you the bacteria will boil, and yogurt will not work.

Cooking method

Step 1 Prepare everything for making yogurt. These are all the ingredients, special jars for yogurt. Wash the jars, dry with a clean towel. My slow cooker had its own special plastic jars, very beautiful. I will use them. But, if your cartoon supports the “Yogurt” mode, but you don’t have jars, you can use any glass jars with lids.
Another important point, milk should be at room temperature!

Step 2 Pour the milk into the multicooker bowl. I put sugar. We add our starter, I have yogurt without Activia additives. But you can use a special yogurt starter like this one from Vivo.

If, honestly, it doesn’t matter what the sourdough will be, it’s just that they don’t sell it in our city and it’s more convenient for me to make it from yogurt. In addition, Activia is useful. As for sugar, if you don’t put it, then the yogurt will turn out sour, children don’t really like such yogurt, so I added sugar and I recommend it to you if you like a little sweet.

All then gently mix well until the sugar dissolves.

Step 3 Pour our “filled” milk into yogurt cups.

Step 4 Wash the multicooker bowl, dry and place the cups in the bowl, and then put everything in the multicooker. Close the lid and turn on the "Yogurt" mode for 9 hours. In general, the mode is designed for 8 hours, but I added an hour, so it becomes very thick.

It is best to put yogurt in the evening, by morning you will have everything ready.

Step 5 At about 6 o'clock my cartoon woke me up with a pelican that everything was ready. Of course, I didn't get up. And after a dream, I looked at what happened.

Step 6 Put the finished yogurt in the refrigerator to cool. Serve with pieces of fruit. I like it better with peaches, these are the ones that are sold in syrup. Delicious and amazing with yogurt.

Yogurt is not sour at all, but this is provided that you add sugar before cooking.

Do not prepare fruit yogurt right away. Add fruit already before meals, when you eat yogurt.

Another interesting way to make yogurt:

Ingredients:

  1. Milk (1 l)
  2. Natural yogurt (1 p.)

Cooking:

First, bring the milk to a boil and remove it from the heat.

Of course, you can make yogurt without sugar, but children don’t like it at all without sugar. So I add two multispoons of sugar to the milk.

Now about why I got yogurt only the third time.

The first time I made yogurt, according to the recipe that came with the slow cooker, right in the bowl. The result was a liquid mass a little like yogurt. Rather, it was more like kefir. In addition, I did not put sugar, so it tasted like kefir.

The second time, I tried to learn more about how to properly prepare yogurt. It turned out that you need to use jars. For some reason, there were no jars included with my multi. Therefore, jars from under some products that I bought in the store came to my rescue, but for some reason I left the jars. Jars were 300-400 grams. Added sugar. But again, it didn't work out. It was much better than the first time both in taste and texture, but still it did not look like the yogurt they sell in the store.

The third attempt was successful. This is the only way I make yogurt now. It turns out that the smaller the jar, the better the yogurt will thicken. Small baby food jars are perfect.

Well-washed jars will be sterilized. To do this, you can also use the multicooker. We place the jars on the steam cooking tray, turn on the appropriate mode and steam them for 2-3 minutes with the lid open (we do the same with jar lids).

While we were preparing the dishes, the milk had cooled to room temperature. Gotta get the foam off of it.

and add natural yogurt. Mix everything well.

You can make yogurt with berries. To do this, any berries need to be mashed with sugar.

Add one or two teaspoons of mashed berries to each sterilized jar.

Top everything with milk mixed with a jar of natural yogurt. Close lids firmly.

Cover the multicooker bowl with a towel.

Put jars on a towel and fill with water. All the jars do not fit in one row for me (about 9-10 pieces are obtained from these ingredients), so I put them in two rows and fill them with water to the lids of the second row. It remains only to close the lid of the multicooker and set the “Yogurt” mode for 8 hours. After the beep, put the finished product in the refrigerator.

Usually, I put yogurt at night. Therefore, when the signal sounds, it is not always possible for me to immediately put it in the refrigerator. For about 1-2 more hours, the jars stand in the multicooker turned off.

This is the yogurt I made. Thickened.

Very tasty and healthy.

This one is natural, without berries. If you do not add sugar, then it will taste exactly the same as the Activia that was added initially.

This one with the berries, after it's been tossed. Children are delighted with him.

If there are no berries, then you can take Activia with some kind of taste. The yogurt you make will taste exactly the same.

For sourdough, you can use not only Activia, but also any other natural yogurt, and you can also use dry sourdough. Enjoy your meal!!!

The recipe is ideal for the multicooker POLARIS PMC 0518AD, power 860 W, bowl 5 l, but it can be adapted to any other multicooker. Try, experiment and you will surely succeed. I would be very grateful if in the comments you write the model and power of your multicooker and tell us how you managed to cook this dish.

Yogurt in a slow cooker is not an ordinary dish, because we are used to buying this dairy product, but it is quite possible to make it at home and at the same time it will be completely natural.

Everyone probably knows what yogurt is, perhaps someone even cooked it in a yogurt maker. But if you first decided to take it on, first of all, you should learn the basic principles of cooking.

  • You should not think that you can cook yogurt only in multicookers of some brands, such as: Redmond, Polaris, that is, in those where there is a Yogurt function. In fact, any manufacturer's oven will do.
  • If you decide to cook with pasteurized or homemade milk, be sure to bring it to a boil first before using it. It is enough to bring the ultra-pasteurized version to room temperature, the milk should not be only from the refrigerator.
  • It is better to mix dry sourdough first with a small amount of milk in a separate container, and then add what is left.
  • When making yogurt in a slow cooker without jars, place everything at once in a bowl, but do not forget to rinse it well. Turn on the device in the "Heating" mode and wait until the mass turns sour. This may take 4 to 8 hours.

How to choose a starter for yogurt?

To make homemade yogurt in a slow cooker really tasty, healthy and significantly different from the purchased version, it is important to choose the right sourdough.

Of course, you can cook on the basis of store-bought natural yogurt, but it must be of good quality. The best starter cultures are now considered dry, which are available in pharmacies. They contain about two million bacteria, many vitamins and minerals.

  • When choosing a dry mix, be sure to pay attention to the composition, the more bacteria, the more useful it is.
  • If you are going to prepare yogurt for children, then buy a sourdough, where the composition is fully prescribed, so that you know what you are giving to the child.
  • Don't forget to look at the expiration date.

The most popular dry mixes are Evitalia, Good Food, Narine and Vivo.
