Probably everyone loves to bake pies, especially puff pastry pies. They almost always turn out beautiful and undoubtedly tasty.

Chicken Tomato Cheese Puff Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr. puff pastry
  • 500 gr. boiled chicken(fillet)
  • 200 gr. cheese
  • 300 gr. cherry tomatoes
  • onion
  • celery stalk
  • egg
  • egg yolk
  • vegetable oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • sugar

Cooking method:

1. For the filling, the tomatoes must first be baked in the oven at 180 degrees. To do this, wash the tomatoes, put them in a deep dish or baking sheet. Sprinkle tomatoes vegetable oil, season with sugar and salt. Add a little ground black pepper and oregano to taste. Bake for about 40 minutes, then remove and cool.

2. Chop the onions and celery very finely.

3. Boil the chicken, peel off the skin and bones. Chop the chicken small cubes.

4. Fry onions in vegetable oil until golden brown.

5. Combine celery, chicken and fried onions in a bowl.

6. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

7. Add cheese to the filling, raw egg and knead the mixture thoroughly.

8. Grease a baking sheet with oil and sprinkle with flour.

9. Cut the dough into two identical sheets.

10. Put the first sheet on a baking sheet. Place the chicken filling in the center and around the edge.

11. Cover the filling with the second piece of dough. Press down the round dough in the center plate or bowl.

12. Press down the dough with your hands and a fork along the edges. Cut off excess dough with a knife.

13. Beat egg white and grease the surface of the cake with it. Sprinkle with poppy seeds on the cake.

14. To decorate the cake beautifully in the form of a "sun" or "sunflower" it is necessary to cut the edges of the cake into strips 3 cm wide. Turn each strip-piece on its side, so that the filling is on top.

15. Place baked tomatoes on strips.

16. Bake the chicken puff pie for about 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.

- fresh tomatoes - 2-3 medium, or 1 very large
- chicken breast- 600 g (2 fillets)
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
- ground black pepper - 1 tsp
- nutmeg ground - ½ teaspoon
- onion - 1 pc.
- rapeseed oil for frying the filling - 3-4 tbsp. spoons
- hard cheese grated - 100 g

Additionally:
- vegetable oil for lubricating the baking sheet - 2 tbsp. spoons
- egg for greasing pies - 1 pc.
- dried dill for sprinkling
- sour cream for serving

Snack pies with chicken, tomatoes and cheese

1. Do the dough first. For dough, dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk, adding sugar, salt and a teaspoon of flour. Leave it in a warm place to ferment for 15 minutes.

2. Pour flour into a spacious bowl, make a hole in a hill, break an egg into it, pour in the fermented dough, melted and cooled to a warm state butter and knead the dough. Knead until it stops sticking to your hands.

3. Cover the bowl of dough with a napkin and leave in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.

4. Pour rapeseed oil into the pan. Of course, you can use any other cooking oil you prefer. The recipe offers rapeseed oil to obtain exquisite taste pies.

5. Put in a frying pan with heated oil chicken fillet, cut into small cubes and brown, stirring occasionally, over medium heat. Then add chopped onions, garlic, reduce heat and fry until the onions are soft.

6. Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the abundant juice evaporates. Add coarse grated cheese, salt, spices, stir and simmer for another ½ minute. Remove the finished filling from heat.

7. Roll out the risen dough into a thin layer of about 3 mm and cut out circles with a diameter of 10 mm using a dessert cup or bowl.

8. Place about 1 tbsp on each circle. a spoonful of the filling, fold the dough in half and blind the edges, for better strength, go over them with a fork.

9. Place the patties on a greased baking sheet, brush over the top with a beaten egg and sprinkle with dried dill.

10. Bake the chicken, tomato and cheese snack pies in the 200-degree oven for about 20 minutes, until they are beautifully blushed. Best served hot.
