The first All-Russian Cheese Festival will take place from 3 to 5 August at the site of the Northern Square at VDNKh. More than 50 manufacturers from all over Russia will present their own products here. Guests of the holiday will be able to taste and buy their favorite cheeses, as well as attend various master classes and lectures.

The cheese festival in the Crafts Park at VDNKh has already become a traditional event and is very popular among Muscovites and guests of the capital. Each time the number of its participants and guests grows, therefore, in the first days of August, the festival will be held at a new site - in the Northern Park, near pavilion No. 75 of VDNH EXPO. Visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with products from more than 20 regions of Russia - from the Pskov region to Altai.

The main tent of the festival will host a fair, where visitors will find such varieties as mozzarella, halloumi and feta, blue cheeses - gorgonzola, stilton and valance; with noble white mold - camembert, brie and saint-marselen; semi-hard and hard - gruyere, gouda, cheddar, cheeses with fenugreek, pepper, garlic and herbs and many others.

A large educational program has been prepared in the Tent of Knowledge: interactive excursions, culinary master classes, lectures, and classes in the preparation of a variety of cheeses. Cooking classes will include chalet pasta, salad with apple mousse and grilled halloumi cheese, and cheese sweets. Various tastings will also take place here, such as "Coffee and Cheese" and an interactive discussion "Farm and Industrial Cheese". For the young guests, the organizers have prepared a special program - they will see the play "Crow with Cheese", mini-classes on drawing a cheese still life and much more.

During the day, invited DJs will be responsible for the musical accompaniment, and in the evenings on the main stage of the festival, guests will enjoy live concerts.

Among other things, the festival will host the II annual competition " Best Cheese Russia ". Representatives of the FACE network of European farm and artisan cheese and dairy producers will evaluate the cheeses presented at the festival in nine nominations. According to the results of the competition, the winners will be awarded on the main stage of the festival on August 5 at 15:00.

From the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic to the Moscow festival will bring for the first time fresh cheeses prepared according to the recipes traditional for this region.
