Anyone who has ever tried rabbit meat will certainly want to try it again. Rabbit meat is considered dietary, it has little fat, it is easily digested. It contains a large number of amino acids, vitamins and microelements necessary for our body. Among other things, the rabbit is very tasty, many dishes are prepared from it. Today we have a stewed rabbit with cabbage on the menu. It would seem that something is simpler, but it turns out so harmoniously that you will certainly cook this dish again and again.

So, to prepare a stewed rabbit with cabbage, we need quite available ingredients. I want to make a reservation that you can choose spices to your taste, but I added only paprika and a little black pepper. The aroma of rabbit with cabbage is so gentle and pleasant that you don’t want to hide it.

Step by step cooking

  1. Salt the rabbit leg, stuff with carrots and sprinkle with spices.
  2. Coarsely chop the cabbage. Add coarsely chopped remaining carrots, onions. Salt and stir.
  3. Slice Bell pepper, spicy pepper and tomatoes and add to the cabbage.
  4. Sprinkle with paprika, mix a little and place in a baking dish or goose casserole. Put the prepared rabbit leg on top. 2-3 heads of garlic, directly in the husk, stick into the cabbage. Add water to half the cabbage, add oil.

How to cook rabbit with cabbage in a slow cooker
