Sweet pastry sausage recipe. Cookie Sausage

Remember how popular in our childhood was a homemade sausage made from cookies, butter and chocolate? Our mothers cooked it in in large numbers, put in the refrigerator, and the family was provided for a long time delicious dessert. Now we can buy any sweets in the store, and in those days, most often only such a dessert was available to us. If you want to remember the taste of childhood, let's make a chocolate cookie sausage together.

Recipe for chocolate chip cookies

For a sweet dessert from childhood, you will need:

You will also need cling film, with which the sausage is formed.

Note! Butter must be preheated to room temperature. It should become soft, but not melting.

  1. Break the cookies into small pieces, put in a blender bowl and grind into crumbs.

    Grind cookies in a blender

  2. Pour the crumbs into a convenient bowl, add the butter and rub thoroughly.

    Add butter to cookie crumbs

  3. Now add cocoa and mix again.

    Add cocoa and mix thoroughly

  4. Add to mass walnuts. Before that, dry them in the oven and pound them as finely as possible.

    Add in crushed nuts

  5. Start gradually pouring in the condensed milk, all the while rubbing the mass with a spoon.

    Pour in the condensed milk

  6. Lay out the cling film, put the resulting mass on it and roll it up in the form of a sausage, twisting around the edges for tightness. Send the dessert to the refrigerator for several hours.

    Shape the mass into a sausage using cling film

I heard from friends that it is enough to keep such a sausage in the refrigerator for literally 2-3 hours so that it freezes properly. It didn’t work out that way for me: the dessert was too soft and spread in my hands. Therefore, I put the sausage either all night right next to the freezer, or for 5 hours inside the freezer.

By the way, you can significantly change the taste of the sausage. It depends on the type of cookies, and there are a lot of them now, choose according to your taste. You can also use any nuts (but be careful with peanuts, it is a strong allergen), candied fruit, marmalade. Also, you don't have to add cocoa if you don't want the chocolate flavor.

What sweet tooth is not familiar with the taste of the Potato cake (or “Kolobok”), the Hedgehog cake or the usual confectionery sausage, so sweet to the heart? Except for those who are indifferent to chocolate treats. And for lovers of this sweetness, there is no better joy to come up with. And it turns out that this delicacy can be easily and quickly made at home. With almost no effort, literally in half an hour you can create such a wonderful, not only in appearance, but also in taste, confectionery sausage.

And products for this culinary masterpiece not much is needed.

Ingredients:

200 g butter
cookies (sugar, anniversary, for tea - any rich) - 300 grams
cocoa powder - 3 tablespoons
walnuts - 100 grams
cans of condensed milk
sugar - glass
Cooking:
Grind nuts and cookies in a meat grinder.

If you do not want to turn the meat grinder, you can put the cookies in a plastic bag and gently grind with a kitchen hammer. Nuts can be crushed with a knife. Next, put butter in a ladle (saucepan) and melt.

Pour sugar into melted butter, mix and as soon as it dissolves, remove from heat and add cocoa, mix again and add condensed milk.

Then pour the contents of the ladle into the crushed mixture of biscuits with nuts, mix thoroughly.

Spread polyethylene or food film on the table, put the resulting mixture on it in the form of sausages and, tightly wrapped, place in the freezer for an hour or two to solidify. Cut the hardened sausage into circles and put on a saucer. It turned out beautiful and delicious. Is not it?

If you ask my daughter which dish is the most delicious in the world, the answer will be unequivocal and decisive: sweet chocolate sausage. Alas, the cruel mother does not allow her to eat this miracle of Soviet cooking 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, but if she did, the young lady would be the happiest person in the world.

However, without too much irony, I consider the sweet sausage recipe almost a masterpiece: a minimum of ingredients, everything is available, it is made as easy as shelling pears - but how delicious it turns out! This is the dessert of my childhood, the joy of my children, a lifesaver in case of unexpected guests (yes, yes, I always keep a few false “Moscow” sticks in my freezer).

By the way, about "easier than simple". In our family, the eldest daughter prepares the sausage, not trusting this process to anyone else. Everything is so primitive that your child can handle it, rest assured!

Ingredients

  • 200 g butter;
  • 1 can of condensed milk;
  • 2 tbsp. l. "Heaped" cocoa;
  • 500 g shortbread biscuits(such as "Anniversary", "For tea").

    The photo shows everything you need to make a classic Soviet sweet chocolate sausage. Good advice - do not save on butter, it gives the main flavor note, and if you buy a cheap spread or soft sandwich mass, the sausage will have at least a strange aftertaste.

    The same advice is also valid for cookies: you should not take the cheapest option, alas, you cannot ennoble it with expensive butter and condensed milk. Optimal - mid-range cookies.

    Let's take care of them first. The cookies must be crushed, and so that most of them look like very coarse flour, and the second remains in pieces. However, quite small pieces.
    We set this task for the child and go off to drink coffee, lazily browsing the news on your favorite Internet sites.

    As a rule, coffee ends long before the cookies reach the desired condition. Then I resolutely expropriate some of the leftovers and turn on the food processor: half a minute - and it's in the bag.

    Pour both types of cookies into a bowl - flour and pieces. We mix. Without fanaticism, light and lazy - just the way a child can do.

    Put butter in a small saucepan. We heat, but do not boil.

    Add cocoa to cookies.

    We mix.

    Add condensed milk.

    Again we work with a spoon - and again the children do it very well.

    Add melted butter.

    Mix well.

    I did not take into account that in the process of my coffee drinking I did not follow the fate of several cookies, they disappeared somewhere in the bowels of the stomachs of two mischievous girls. The end result was a lot of oil. Not that it was a problem, not at all, but it was possible to save a little.

    We tear off a small piece of cling film, lay out a part of the "sausage minced meat" along the long side.

    We form a “sausage” by rolling it back and forth with our fingers.

    Wrap and put in the freezer for at least 3 hours.

    We cut it before serving, although I’m sure the children would eat a couple of “sticks” of sausage all at once. Enjoy your meal!

NOTE TO MOMMS AND DAUGHTERS

My girls are terrible conservatives: they are served sausage exclusively in a “pure” form, no additives are recognized. And I love experimenting! It turns out very tasty if you add to the total mass before kneading:

- some toasted poppy seeds (oh, how it crunches and explodes with nutty taste!);
- finely chopped marmalade sweets (the cut is magical, stained glass, it turns out very festive option!);
- dried fruits (and more, more - while the "sausage" mass is able to accept and hold together);
- nuts (any - walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts);
- sweet puffed rice (oh, how beautiful white looks on a black background!).

Sweet sandwiches! With sausage, of course.

2. In a water bath, melt 100 g of butter, and 0.5 kg of Korovka sweets (break in half to melt faster), melt until homogeneous mass,

3. Pour the hot mass onto the straws, level with a spoon so that the edges are smeared, roll up with paper.

Sweet sausage made from biscuits and cocoa

Ingredients:

Shortbread cookies - 300-400 g

Butter - 200 g

Sugar - 1 tbsp.

Cocoa - 3-4 tbsp. l.

Milk or cream (10%) - 5-6 tbsp. l.

Walnuts - 1 tbsp.

Cooking method:

1. Let's start with cookies. In the photo, it is about half as much - the rest has already been chopped. Approximately 2/3 of it must be ground into flour.

2. The remaining cookies need to be crumbled into small pieces, mixed with the ground mass and crushed nuts are added there.

3. After that, we move on to the next step. We take a small saucepan, pour cocoa and sugar into it. By the way, somehow we didn’t have enough cocoa and we used hot chocolate in bags - it turned out very well.

4. Mix them and pour milk. All this is again thoroughly mixed until a homogeneous mass and put on a small fire.

5. Stirring, do not let it burn and bring it all to a boil (about 5 minutes). As soon as the milk boils, turn off the heat and let stand for a couple of minutes.

6. In the meantime, cut the butter into cubes and throw them into this chocolate mass. Mix everything until the oil is completely dissolved and the substance is homogeneous.

7. Now pour everything into cookies.

8. We mix thoroughly. You should get a mass resembling a homogeneous one. At this stage, you can take a preliminary sample - you should like it.

9. It's time to give a doctoral/servelat/liver form to our creation. In this case, we took foil (food parchment).

Do you remember your childhood? A trip to the candy store often ended up with your hands unwrapping the foil and pulling out a delicious creamy sausage. The years have flown by, this dessert has remained in the memory, and now you have the opportunity to cook it for your children. A simple recipe, delicious cake and a lot of positive impressions.

Dessert contains:

  • 300 grams of shortbread cookies;
  • 200 grams of butter;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • Approximately 40 grams of cocoa;
  • 5 tablespoons of milk or cream of medium fat content;
  • 1 cup walnuts.

Sausage cake is prepared quite easily. This recipe does not require special culinary skills, and such a “sausage” is prepared quickly and without serious time costs. First you have to grind half of the shortbread cookies with a blender. The resulting powder is poured into a bowl. Break the rest of the cookies into small pieces.

The cake has a strong nutty flavor. In order to embody this "childish" taste, walnuts must be chopped into medium-sized pieces. The recipe also includes the option of toasting the nuts in a dry frying pan for a more spicy flavor to the dish. Cookies mixed with nuts.

Cocoa is ground with sugar, milk / cream is added to the powder and the mass is thoroughly mixed. The resulting mixture is brought to a boil over low heat. In the process of cooking, cocoa with milk is stirred.

The cake is quite soft, and to give more delicate taste, butter is added to the still warm mixture (it is best to cut it into cubes). The resulting chocolate mass is mixed until smooth.

Time for cookies. Grated biscuits with nuts are smoothly added to the bowl with chocolate "cream". You need to add it gradually so that the final mass is not too thick or lumpy. The result should be a thick, gooey chocolate mixture.

The authentic recipe does not include chocolate, but to give more spicy taste, fifty grams of chocolate melted in a water bath or a few tablespoons of boiled condensed milk can be included in the mass.

How is sausage made? A foil greased with butter is spread on the table, a part of the chocolate mass with cookies is laid out on it. The cake is wrapped, it is given the desired shape, and the sausage is ready! It remains to put it in the refrigerator until it hardens. The cake can be served whole or cut into pieces.

Chocolate sausage "Krakowska"

This recipe has a special appearance: the sausage resembles a real one. Children are very fond of such a dessert, and adults rarely refuse to treat themselves to such an unusual delicacy. It is also prepared on the basis of cookies, but both the composition and the final appearance dishes are very different.

For cooking you will need:

  • 400 grams of shortbread cookies;
  • 200 grams of butter or margarine;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • 1 whole egg;
  • 3 tablespoons of milk;
  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder;
  • Any chopped nuts (about 100 grams).

It all starts with cookies. It must be crushed in any way (meat grinder, hammer for beating meat, etc.). The crumb is mixed with nuts. After that, one whole egg is carefully beaten and poured into cookies with nuts.

After that, margarine (butter), along with 3 tablespoons of milk and 3 tablespoons of cocoa, are put on the stove and brought to a boil. After the mass cools down a little (!), it must be poured into cookies and mixed thoroughly.

Spread out on the table cling film on which the "dough" is laid out. We wrap. Thus, a sausage is formed. After that, you can additionally wrap the dish in foil and put it in the freezer for several hours.

The recipe can be supplemented with slices white chocolate, which will make a fake "fat" in the sausage and give it even more realism. If desired, you can also reduce the amount of sugar and replace it with boiled condensed milk. Delivery can also vary. By the way, this dessert is convenient to take with you. For example, you can wrap it in your child's school. Enjoy your meal!
