How to make a yeast dough pie with meat

1. For a meat pie, you need to make a yeast dough. There is a little secret in its preparation. It has been experimentally established that the better and fatter the milk, the thicker the yeast dough. Homemade milk or milk with a fat content of 3.5% - 4.0% is perfect. Milk must be warmed up. It is important not to overheat here, it is enough to heat it up to + 32 degrees.

Salt, sugar, yeast are added to the milk and flour is added in portions.

Oil is poured in last. The yeast dough is vigorously kneaded for ten minutes.

After that, he needs to be given time to rise. Usually 40-60 minutes is enough.

2. While the dough is increasing in volume, you can start filling. Since the meat is not always juicy and young, you need to add onions and raw potatoes to the filling. 3. If the filling and dough are ready, it remains to form a pie. For this, the dough is divided into two parts. One of them should be slightly larger than the second. Most will be the bottom of the pie. From it with your hands or a rolling pin you need to make a layer 1.5 - 2.0 cm thick. The shape of the layer can be round, oval or rectangular.

4. The prepared layer is immediately placed on a baking sheet, which is greased with oil. Then the cake is formed on a baking sheet. A layer of minced meat is laid on top of the dough. Its thickness should be about 1.5 cm.

5. Another layer is formed from the second part. They cover the filling. The edges of the layers are connected and pinched.

6. The cake should stand for about a quarter of an hour before baking.

7. The oven is heated, the temperature in it should be + 180. A baking sheet with meat pie is placed in the middle of the oven. Baking time 35-40 minutes.

8. When the cake becomes beautiful, golden brown, it can be greased with strong tea or yolk.
