Classic macaroons from world cuisine

Almond does not lose its popularity and keeps its customers. Shop counters offer a variety of these types of cookies, depending on the recipe. Different countries have different cookie names. We offer classic macaroons in several variations.

1. Simple French macaroons

We prepare the minimum set of products:

  • 130 grams of crushed almonds or almond flour;
  • 1.5 tbsp. Sahara;
  • 3 chicken egg whites;
  • 1/3 Art. wheat flour.

Cooking process:

Pour dry ingredients into a dry container: almonds, sugar. Pour the prepared egg whites into the almond-sugar mass. Take a spoon, whisk or mixer and mix the mixture.

Then we place the dish with the mass in a water bath and heat it up to about 45 C. The mixture will thicken. It is then that you need to add the last fourth ingredient - flour.

Quickly knead the dough and decide how we will decorate the nut cookies. You can use a piping bag or spoon the dough directly onto baking paper on a baking sheet.

The oven should warm up gradually while you are forming the cookies.

The dessert is baked for about 12-15 minutes.

After removing the baking sheet from the oven, let the dessert cool down. During this time, you can make tea or coffee, the application to which today will be macaroons. Its calorie content is minimal in comparison with butter biscuits. 2. Almond biscuits in accordance with GOST USSR

We will need 4 products again:

  • 135 g unpeeled almonds;
  • 35 g of premium flour;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • three egg whites.

Make sure that the dough does not stick to the base of the pot. The taste of the future dessert will depend on this. After making sure that the mixture is ready, remove the saucepan from the stove and pour the mixture into a bowl of flour. Knead the dough with quick hand movements.

At home, it is not always possible to bake the same smooth cookies as special equipment of industrial confectionery enterprises does. To prevent cookies from looking like fluffy cakes, prepare a pastry bag in advance. If you want the classic round cookie cutter shapes, then stick with a regular kitchen spoon. 3. Almond cookies from Julia Vysotskaya in Italian

Among modern housewives, the recipe for almond cookies from Julia Vysotskaya is popular.

A well-known TV presenter suggests using the following ingredients in a set of products:

  • 0.25 kg of crushed almonds;
  • 0.12 kg sugar;
  • some water;
  • 140 g icing sugar;
  • 0.1 kg of corn flour;
  • orange peel;
  • 3 tbsp. l. flour;
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder.

How to cook

We cook syrup from 40 ml of water and sugar.

Separately combine almonds with orange zest and flour, pour syrup there. Mix the mass and remove in the cold.

Then we turn on the oven. Into the dough, add the whipped mixture of proteins and powdered sugar.

Mix the cornmeal with the remaining powdered sugar.

Cookies prepared with a spoon are rolled in such a mass, laid out on a baking sheet and baked for about 42 minutes.

The biscuits are brittle, tender and aromatic.

4. Austrian chocolate macaroons with cherries

There are three options for baking this truly fantastic dessert in taste and aroma: in the form of cookies - the dough is placed on parchment with a spoon, in the form of muffins (baked in muffin tins) and as a casserole.

Ingredients:

  • 50 g dark chocolate;
  • 75 g butter;
  • 75 g almonds;
  • 50 g sugar;
  • 25 g flour;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 tbsp rum or 2 drops of essence;
  • 80 g pitted cherries;
  • Powdered sugar for dusting or icing.

Preparation:

Melt the chocolate and butter together over low heat, add sugar and rum. Stir until sugar dissolves.

Dry the almonds in a pan or in the oven and grind them - you can use a rolling pin, or through a meat grinder. Add nuts and flour to the chocolate mixture and stir.

Beat the egg until froth and add portions to the dough, kneading well.

Cover the baking sheet with parchment and a tablespoon at a distance to spread the future cookies. Put several cherries on each island.

Bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.

Cool the baked goods and sprinkle with icing sugar or chocolate icing.

5. Cuban macaroons for breakfast Almendrados

These cookies are prepared so quickly that they can be baked right for coffee in the morning, some ingredients can be prepared in the evening.

Components:

  • 100 g flour;
  • 100 g butter;
  • 10 g oatmeal;
  • 10 g wheat flakes;
  • 15 g of honey;
  • 50 g almonds;
  • 20 whole almonds
  • 50 g sugar;
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder;
  • 25 g of dark chocolate.

Preparation:

  1. Chop the toasted almonds. Chop the chocolate into small pieces or rub through a coarse grater.
  2. Soften the butter and beat with sugar, then add honey and beat a little more.
  3. Add nuts, chocolate, cereal, baking powder, flour, notice the dough.
