Georgian meat salad with radish- a step-by-step recipe for making a delicious vitamin salad of radish and boiled beef meat. This type of salad is especially popular in the Georgian region of Imereti, it is prepared mainly in the winter season.

Georgian meat salad with radish

Ingredients

  • 400 grams of radish
  • 700 gr lean beef,
  • 150 gr mayonnaise,
  • 1 tsp blue fenugreek (suneli hops),
  • 1 tsp yellow flower (Imeretian saffron),
  • 1 tsp dried coriander,
  • 1 tsp with a hill of ground bitter red pepper,
  • salt - to taste.

Cooking

Wash the beef meat and cut into large pieces. Put in a saucepan, fill with water. Bring to a boil, remove the foam and simmer for about 2 hours.

Wash radishes thoroughly. Cut into thin long slices.

Disassemble the cooked beef into fibers with your hands, as shown in the photo below.

Place beef and radishes in a bowl.

Add all the above Georgian spices and salt to taste.

Radishes in the spring can be found on almost every vegetable counter. But they use it, as a rule, only as a “bite” or using it as part of decorating a dish. Although wonderful, spring-like light salads with a wonderful crispy taste and delicate texture are prepared from it.


Salad with meat.

Meat (300 grams of lean pork or beef) is boiled, cooled and cut into small cubes.

Lettuce leaves are washed, cut into large pieces.

Radishes (150 grams) are washed, the coarse root part is removed, the “hairs” are cut off, chopped into thin slices - half rings.

Hard-boiled eggs (two chicken eggs), peel, cut into medium-sized cubes. In the same way, “Adyghe” or “feta” cheese (100 grams) is cut.

All cut products are put in one cup, seasoned with mayonnaise (two tablespoons), salt, pepper (to taste), mustard (one teaspoon).


Gently mix and serve on lettuce leaves. If you want a dietary salad, then boiled chicken breast is used instead of meat, and mayonnaise and Russian mustard are replaced with salad yogurt and Dijon mustard in the same proportions.

Cut the radish into thin slices. You can use a knife, you can use special shredders.

Put the radish in a deep salad bowl.

Rinse the greens, dry, cut into thin ribbons.

Cool the boiled meat, cut into thin sticks.

Mix dressing: soy sauce and vegetable oil.
