How to cook:

Cut the vegetables into even-sized cubes and transfer to a small saucepan. Pour vegetables with one liter of water, salt to taste and boil until tender.

Melt the butter in a frying pan, add a spoonful of vegetable oil and fry the onion until lightly transparent. Make sure that the onion does not burn, otherwise the cream - the soup will be bitter.

While the vegetables are cooking prepare croutons. For croutons, you can take any kind of bread, I have a second one. Cut two or three slices into cubes. A small batch of croutons is more convenient to cook in the microwave. Grease a heat-resistant plate lightly with vegetable oil. Peel a couple of garlic cloves, squeeze through a press and mix with bread cubes. Put the bread on the prepared plate and put in the microwave. Bread croutons are prepared for about 4 - 5 minutes, but periodically (after 2 minutes) the croutons should be slightly mixed.

Remove cooked vegetables from heat, they should be very soft. Add an onion.

Using an immersion blender, puree the soup thoroughly until smooth.

Add cream cheese to the pan and continue to beat with a blender.

Ready cream - the soup should have a delicate texture and a pleasant color.

Cut the ham into small cubes, set aside a little for decoration, and mix the main part with the cream soup. Finely chop for garnish green onion. Pour the cream soup into a bowl, garnish with reserved ham cubes and green onions.
