Ways to paint eggs for Easter. How I painted creepy black eggs for Easter! Methods with dyes - natural and not so

The tradition of dyeing chicken eggs for Easter was born in time immemorial, and so far in many houses they prefer to use non-artificial dyes, which, at the same time with the shell, stain dishes and fingers, and not to stick shrink wrap on the steep egg sides, but to use the proven "grandmother's" method - onion skins.

So Valentina Vasilievna Debenkova, a 77-year-old resident of the village of Novitskovichi, Kamenets district, has been putting onion husks in a canvas bag for several weeks. “On Friday night I will wet it, fill it with warm water, infuse it, it will be red,” she says with pleasure. - And on Saturday morning I'll put the eggs in it to boil. Beautiful will be a feast for the eyes "

All her life Valentina Vasilievna lived in Novitskovichi and as far as she can remember, women in the village have always painted eggs in onion skins. And also in the mistletoe. The very mistletoe whose balls you can

Those for whom the red-sided Easter eggs were not colorful enough painted patterns on them. They dipped a thin stick in pork fat and applied it gently to the raw egg with all sorts of dots and flowers ... Then they dipped the egg into the onion broth. The greasy areas were not painted over, and a very festive bright white pattern was obtained.

“Chickens in the villages used to lay only white eggs. Themselves are black, the eggs are white, and the yolk is so joyful, bright that the soul rejoiced, - recalls Valentina Vasilievna. - Now you can't understand where the dark shell came from. But they paint well in the husk or in the mistletoe. "

Eggs were painted on Saturday morning, so that they had time to cool before the service in the church, but remained fresh. The first thing that everyone at the festive table should try is the consecrated egg. On the first day of Easter, only children and the closest people were presented with colored eggs. On the second or third day of the holiday, they began to visit each other (necessarily - godparents to the godchildren) and give volochechnye.

Where did the custom of dyeing eggs for Easter come from?

One of the legends tells about it like this. After the resurrection of Jesus Christ, his disciples and followers dispersed to different countries, proclaiming the good news to the world. Mary Magdalene dared to come with this news to the Roman emperor Tiberius himself. One could not go to an audience with Caesar empty-handed. Mary Magdalene brought an ordinary white chicken egg and handed it to the emperor with the words: "Christ is Risen" Tiberius laughed and answered: just as this egg cannot turn red, so the deceased cannot be resurrected. And right there, before his eyes, the egg turned dark red ... "Vostinu Risen!" Exclaimed the astonished emperor. True, there is no confirmation of this story in any Christian source, so the version is not considered official. But she is beautiful and many people like it.

Well, for children, the favorite pastime for Easter from the first day was playing cue ball. They checked whose egg is stronger: whoever won, he took the broken "trophy". “Some of them could determine the strength of an egg by sound,” recalls Valentina Vasilievna. - They will knock lightly with one end on the teeth, with the other ... If the sound is ringing, the egg is fragile. If deaf - strong. And what did our guys do: pumped the egg with resin. It turned out smolyanka. She could break any egg she wanted. And from the outside you can't tell! "

Other sly ones took small turkey eggs, the shells of which are thicker and stronger, and passed them off as chicken eggs. And also the youth rolled eggs. Or in a hut on a plank floor, or on the sand - if only the surface was flat. Like a bowling ball - a rolling egg knocked down another, and the player took it for himself.

It was possible to go on a visit with a volochebny all week. For such an occasion, fresh eggs were painted the day before: our grandparents knew very well that this “product” was perishable. And the next Monday after Easter week, they arranged the farewell to Easter. On this day, it was customary to generously pour buckets over each other. “It was already warm, but we are young - what do we need this cold well water for,” laughs Valentina Vasilievna. - It used to be that there is no dry thread left on you ... "

In the evening the whole family sat down to supper. A piece of consecrated Easter, carefully preserved for such an occasion, was always put on the table. And after supper, they tucked the spoon into their belt and went to "swing in the rye" - so that the back would not hurt when you reap the crop. “Life was interesting then,” sighs my interlocutor.

In fact, none of the seventy-seven years she lived was boring. For more than 30 years, Valentina Vasilievna Debenkova worked as a foreman at a local collective farm, she always knew how to get along with people, and fellow villagers speak of her exclusively with respect. And for as long as she can remember, she sang. The Lord rewarded her with a high, clear voice and excellent ear for music. For many years, Valentina Vasilievna performed with the folklore group "Orlitsa", which works at the Novitskovichi village club. And even now, when it is necessary to remember a half-forgotten old rite or learn something about the "grandfather's" traditions, they come to her. And she willingly shares everything that she remembers and knows. And he carefully preserves these traditions.

So Easter eggs will be painted "in the right way" - in onion skins and mistletoe. And there will be someone to give them ...

When Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Mary Magdalene came to Rome with a sermon, she held out a chicken egg to Emperor Tiberius and said: "Christ is Risen!" Tiberius expressed doubts and replied: "It is impossible just as if your egg now turns red." At the same moment, a miracle happened - the egg presented by Mary Magdalena turned red. Christians believed in the resurrection of Jesus, and the red testicle became a symbol of the holiday.

To do this, take chicken eggs, preferably white, in which case the shade will turn out to be brighter and more saturated. But if you have goose or quail laying fresh eggs, you can paint both goose and quail. In what color to paint Easter eggs, I have already said - in red, this is the main color, but shades similar to it - red-brown, crimson, burgundy, purple - are also suitable.

Egg staining methods

1. One of the most common folk methods is the dyeing of eggs in onion skins. What is its advantage? The fact that we are completely confident in the naturalness of the dye and do not have to worry about the consequences. With this method, the paint lays on the eggs evenly.

Prepare a decoction from the onion peel in advance. To do this, put it in a saucepan, cover with water and boil over low heat for 30 minutes. Then cool the broth, strain and boil the eggs in the resulting liquid. Do not spare the husk, put more, the richer the broth turns out, the more beautiful the testicles painted in it will be.

By the way, using the amount of onion peel, you can adjust the shade of the paint. If the husk is not very much, then you get light brown testicles, and the rich onion paint will give us a red-burgundy hue. If you use the husks of red and purple onions, the color of the testicles will be especially beautiful.

To decorate such eggs, pick young leaves from trees and bushes on the street. It is desirable that they be beautiful and delicate; maple leaves, currants, celandine are best suited. Take the leaves, attach them to the eggs, straighten them, carefully place them in a nylon sock or stocking and tie them tightly with a thread (it is better not to use an elastic band, it may not withstand boiling water). Make sure that the leaves are straightened, put them in the husk broth and boil for 7-10 minutes. Pull the finished cooled testicles out of the stocking - the nylon will let the paint through, but the leaf will not, and a beautiful pattern will remain in its place. Then, at the festive Easter table, when all the relatives have gathered, you can play with the children - let them guess which leaf of which plant is depicted on the egg.

A very beautiful pattern will turn out if you use parsley, rosemary, dill, thyme, cilantro along with the leaves of trees.

2. The second, no less common method of painting is food coloring. And now you can answer the question of what other colors eggs are painted for Easter? It can be absolutely any shade that you can find among food colors: yellow, blue, blue, green, orange. The main thing is that they do not contain prohibited chemical additives that can penetrate the egg through the shell, and that the paint itself does not fail, leaving not pretty stains on the egg.

For this method, you need to take white eggs, otherwise the color of the dye will end up not the same as the paint itself.

So, how to color eggs with food colors. First, boil them in salted water. Then cool, wipe with vinegar for degreasing (in this case, the paint will lie smoother). Dissolve the paint according to the manufacturer's instructions (each color in a separate bowl). For the best effect, add 1 tablespoon of vinegar to each container with diluted paint, dip the testicles in them and hold for 3 to 5 minutes, then remove and dry.

If you are against store dyes, use the natural dyes that are on hand:

  • hibiscus tea will give a purple hue;
  • beet broth will help color the eggs pink, raspberry, burgundy (depending on concentration). Just leave the liquid in which the beets were boiled and put boiled eggs in it overnight;
  • black coffee will give shades from beige to brown;
  • turmeric will give a bright yellow color. Boil a mixture of 1 liter of water with two teaspoons of turmeric for 10 minutes, then boil the eggs in this liquid.

To get orange you need a combination of red and yellow, for green, combine yellow and blue.

You can decorate Easter eggs in the following ways:

1. Wrap the boiled eggs randomly with threads, then place in the paint for 3-5 minutes. Then take out, let them dry and remove the threads. Instead of threads, you can use rubber bands, wind it as you like, full flight of imagination and creativity.

2. Wrap the boiled eggs in ordinary napkins, then blot on different sides with paints of various colors, hold it for 3-5 minutes, unfold the napkin and dry it - you get a rainbow testicle.

3. Take an egg, wet it and roll it wet in raw rice grits (the rice will stick to the egg). Then place the egg in a nylon stocking (it should fit snugly), tie it with threads or an elastic band and dip it in the paint for 3-5 minutes. After that, remove from the dye, dry and remove the stocking. You will get a colored testicle with a speck of rice.

4. Draw a drawing on the egg with a pencil, it can be an ornament or some kind of geometric pattern, zigzags around the circumference of the whole egg, flowers or leaves. Then take an ordinary candle, light it and with the melted wax that appears near the wick of the candle, fill in the contours of the picture. Let the wax harden and dip the egg in the paint for 3-5 minutes. After the required time has elapsed, take it out, let it dry, wipe off the wax with a soft cloth or napkin. You will get a colored testicle with a pattern.

A few more ways to decorate Easter eggs

Marble eggs - this method can be called exclusive for the post-Soviet space, since "green" is sold only in our pharmacies.

Take raw eggs, dip them in water and roll in finely chopped onion skins, it will stick to the egg. Then place each testicle in a nylon stocking and tie it tightly with a string. Boil eggs in a solution of "green" for 7-10 minutes (a standard pharmacy bottle of "green diamond" is taken for 3 liters of water). After that, remove the testicles, cool and remove the stocking - the marble eggs are ready.

You can also try these options:

  • Wrap ready-made colored eggs around with an openwork ribbon or lace so that it holds well, moisten with raw egg white before winding;
  • eggs will look very festive if you glue multi-colored confetti on them;
  • cut out fragments of drawings from beautiful napkins (butterflies, flowers, figures, etc.) and glue them on boiled eggs using egg white, then let dry.

Some useful tips

1. Before dyeing eggs, rinse them in a baking soda solution.

2. Never boil eggs that have just been removed from the refrigerator. Let them sit for a while and warm to room temperature.

3. Put salt in the dishes where you will cook the eggs, in this case they will not crack.

4. It is better to paint eggs with rubber gloves, otherwise then you will have to wash your hands for a long time and tediously.

5. Wipe the shell of already colored eggs with vegetable oil, then they will turn out to be brighter and more shiny.

6. Remember about the upcoming holiday in advance and start collecting onion skins two to three months before Easter.

7. For boiling eggs in "green" or onion peel broth, use stainless steel dishes, then do not wash the enamelled ones. Better yet, have a special saucepan in your kitchen, in which you will paint your Easter eggs every year.

I congratulate you on the holiday of Bright Easter! I wish you and your loved ones all the best. Let your life be as bright and beautiful as Easter eggs. Be healthy and happy. All the best! Bye!

With the spring warmth and sun, the bright holiday of Easter comes to us. Tall stately Easter cakes, tender cottage cheese Easter, various pastries in the form of chickens, rabbits and, of course, colored eggs. If the dishes are prepared for family and guests, then all acquaintances and strangers are presented with eggs. From children who bring the news of the Resurrection of Christ in the morning to colleagues at work. "Christ is risen!" - they say at the same time. "In truth he has risen!" - they hear back and get a testicle in return.

What are Easter eggs?

Interestingly, colored Easter eggs have their own names depending on how the eggs were dyed. Krashenki are monochromatic eggs, specks are eggs covered with multi-colored specks, which are obtained with the help of wax droplets. And if we paint eggs and scratch out the drawing, then we get drapanka. Easter eggs should be noted separately. This is not just an Easter attribute, but a work of art! Drawings on eggs are made with a special tool - a scribe.
In the article we have collected both well-known methods of painting eggs, which everyone knows very well, but perhaps forgot the nuances, and more interesting and "unbeaten". In addition, we will talk about quick options to paint eggs beautifully with the least labor costs, about the methods of decorating them, which you can deal with with your child, and about such original ways where you can let your imagination float free and expect an excellent result! For convenience, all 20 methods are divided into thematic blocks.

Start key - preparing eggs for painting

  • First: never start boiling eggs without first taking them out of the refrigerator at least an hour or two before coloring. Eggs should be at least room temperature so they don't burst during cooking. There is another way to prevent the explosion of eggs. They need to be pierced with a thin, sharp needle. However, the first option is much simpler and safer.
  • Second: when cooking, add 1 tbsp. l. table salt for 1.5-2 liters of water. It is believed that this is done so that the shell does not burst. In fact, it is correct to say that salt will not allow the protein to leak out and form white "growths" if the shell suddenly cracks.
  • Third: the eggs should be thoroughly rinsed, perhaps even with a dish sponge. This is done to make the paint smoother. You can also wipe the testicle with soapy water or rubbing alcohol.
  • Fourth: you can paint eggs for Easter not only chicken, but also quail. It turns out very interesting and unusual! We also keep them at room temperature, rinse and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Fifth: in order for the paint to hold better, vinegar (9%) is added during the staining process. On average, 1 tbsp. l. 1.5 liters. water.
  • Well, and the last piece of advice on how to give already colored eggs a festive look. Rub them, after wiping dry, with vegetable oil.

How to paint eggs in onion skins

First: the classics of the genre - onion peel and its variations

Traditional crimson, brown or dark yellow eggs are obtained by painting them with onion skins. In this case, both the husk of ordinary onions and red onions are used. When calculating the color, you can be guided by such a hint. If you take the husk of 8 onions for 2 cups of water, you get a red-brown color.

  1. Prepare a dye solution. To do this, pour onion husks into a pot of water.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer for about half an hour.

  3. Let the broth cool. During this time, he will infuse.
  4. Strain the paint by discarding the husks.

  5. Immerse the prepared eggs in the solution so that it completely covers them.
  6. Cook eggs in onion broth over low heat, "hard boiled", that is, 12-15 minutes.
  7. Cool them sharply with cold water to make it easier to peel off the shell.
  8. If the eggs have not received the desired shade during this time, return them back to the dye solution.

Second: tandem husk with brilliant green

A very interesting option is burgundy green or brown brilliant eggs. For their execution, you will need onion peels, brilliant greens (a standard bottle, 10 ml per 1.5 liters), a nylon stocking (or gauze), gloves (to protect the skin of the hands from brilliant green).

Third: coloring in the husk with patterns

You can diversify the staining with onion peels if you first put a patterned figure on the egg and fix it with a piece of nylon. In this case, to obtain a pattern, you can take what is at hand. For example, leaves of parsley, parsnip, dill, peppermint, fresh or dried flowers. The dry material must first be soaked in hot water, and then applied to the egg.

The chosen motif - a leaf or a flower, tightly fix it with a nylon stocking (or a bandage, gauze) and carry out the standard staining with onion peel. Then remove the stocking, remove the stencil for the pattern and you will see an egg colored with onion peel, but with an imprint of a leaf or flower in the natural color of the shell.
By the same principle, you can decorate the speck with chaotic dots of the color of an unpainted shell. To do this, roll a wet egg in rice, crushed peas or millet before painting with onion peels, or attach a piece of lace to it. Secure the rump or lace motif with a nylon stocking.

You can get a variety of patterns without using a fixing material:

  1. for straight lines of the natural color of the shell on the egg, put rubber bands on it;
  2. any pattern can be made of masking tape, plaster, self-adhesive paper, or simply paint the egg with wax crayons;
  3. eggs in a "box" will turn out if you put on mesh stockings or a vegetable net.

Methods with dyes - natural and not so

Fourth: gifts from nature - natural dyes

  1. Pour water into a 1.5 liter saucepan and add natural pigment - the source of color.
  2. Bring to a boil, let it simmer a little and leave to infuse for half an hour.
  3. Strain the broth, pour in 1 tbsp. l. 9% vinegar and place eggs in a saucepan.
  4. Cook them over low heat at least until tender (12-15 minutes). If the color is poorly taken - up to half an hour.
  5. If the coloring is still unsuccessful within half an hour, leave the eggs in a saucepan with the coloring solution overnight.

Fifth: a scientific alternative to natural dyes - food colors

Multicolored dyes on young grass, what could be fresher and more attractive for Easter? To make them quickly and without much hassle, you can buy a special Easter set in the store. When choosing it, please note that dyes are different in the method of application.
One of the options is precisely the paint that must be applied directly to the boiled egg. The other is powder or tablets for diluting the color solution. Eggs are dipped into it and kept there until the paint is taken.
The dye package must contain the dyeing method. There is nothing difficult in using ready-made liquid paint. It is applied to the prepared egg, evenly distributed and allowed to dry. The method of painting with water-borne dyes generally looks like this:

Sixth: with the world on a string - a colorful egg

A riot of colors in one egg is a way of dyeing with floss threads. Very simple and beautiful:

  1. Wrap multicolored floss threads on a damp, room temperature, pre-washed egg. Combine colors and thread arrangements as your imagination dictates!
  2. 2. Boil them in the usual way until "hard boiled" (12-15 minutes).
  3. 3. Remove the threads.

Seventh: fabric translators

Transfer a beautiful pattern from fabric to egg? It is quite possible. You just need to take the choice of fabric seriously. In our age of the prohibitively developed chemical industry and the desire to reduce the cost of things at any cost, you can run into chemically dyed fabric. Despite the beauty of the drawing on it, it is better to refuse to use it. Examples of allowed fabrics include a Pavloposad shawl or a silk tie with an interesting pattern.

  1. Place the selected fabric face up on the egg. Secure it by stitching along the contour.
  2. From above, you can additionally fix the fabric by wrapping the egg with a nylon stocking or white cotton cloth.

  3. Add 9% vinegar to the cooking water (3 tablespoons per 1.5 liter saucepan) and boil the eggs "hard boiled" (12-15 minutes).
  4. Drain the water, cool the eggs and free them from the fabric. The drawing should show through with delicate contours on the shell.
  5. We paint with children

Both adults and children look forward to Easter with equal impatience. Give the kids the opportunity to make a beautiful craft egg and give it, for example, to their grandparents. Being engaged in such creativity, we encourage children's desire to do beauty and give it to loved ones. And also - it's very interesting and fun!

    Eighth: craft egg

You can make a perky chicken from dye:

    1. Color the egg yellow with food coloring. Although the chickens can be of other colors: blue or pink, for example. Even a child from 3 years of age can cope with coloring with colored powders or tablets diluted in water. Of course, under the supervision and careful guidance of an adult.
    2. Cut out the details for decorating the chicken from colored paper: eyes, wings, tail, beak, scallop. And also: a bow - if it's a girl or a bow tie, a tie - if it's a boy. You can also use decorative down from a craft store. It turns out cool and very cute!
    3. Use gelatin glue to fix the prepared parts. To do this, soak the gelatin as indicated on the package. Drain off excess liquid, and heat the granules until they dissolve. It is not necessary to bring to a boil.
    4. Apply gelatinous glue with a brush to the parts, egg and gradually turn it into a chicken!

    Ninth: funny faces

Show your children that the egg can be painted in an unusual way. But since this is a product and it is then eaten, the paints must be natural. For example, it is very easy to make an edible gouache from cocoa powder. She can draw the face of an animal, the face of a funny freak, or even a portrait. Eyes can also be depicted, but it will be more interesting to glue ready-made ones from a needlework store.

    1. Boil the eggs. If necessary, paint with food coloring, for example, if you are making the face of a lion - yellow.
    2. Pour warm water into a tablespoon of cocoa until thick sour cream.
    3. Place the finished eggs on stands, such as plastic bottle caps, and paint.
    4. Let the chocolate gouache dry.
    5. Then glue the eyes with gelatinous glue, if they initially do not have an adhesive base.

    Tenth: wax crayons (pencils)

This is a way for school children. Since you have to work with a hot, freshly boiled egg.

    1. Remove them from the pan, pat dry with a towel.
    2. Place the egg on a stand, such as a bottle cap.
    3. Start drawing with wax pencils. The wax will disperse from the heat and create bizarre transitions, overflows. Choose your colors carefully!
    4. You can paint eggs in this way not only with pencils, but also with the help of sprinkling with crumbs of wax. To obtain it, the crayons are rubbed on a fine grater. And then pour it onto a hot, freshly boiled egg.
    5. And another way to decorate with wax crayons is to melt them and dip an egg there.

    Save time

When a woman is not only a housewife, but also the main earner in the family, there is not so much time for home life. Moreover, Easter eggs are painted on Maundy Thursday. This activity is not postponed until the weekend. Therefore, in the absence of time, you can resort to "quick" methods of making Easter eggs.

    Eleventh: thermal film stickers

Once and done - this is about one of the easiest ways to create an Easter mood with iron-on stickers. How beautiful they are: with painting under Gzhel, Khokhloma, with intricate patterns, butterflies, flowers, church stories, as well as with rabbits, kittens and even characters of children's cartoons! If you plan to use thermal stickers, choose smaller eggs. Otherwise, they simply will not fit into the thermal base. Stickers can be applied to unpainted boiled eggs, and you can also use them as a backup if the shell suddenly cracks when painting with husks.
Please note: eggs are stored in thermal stickers less than, for example, dyed with husk or food coloring.

    1. Boil the eggs in the usual way.
    2. Place the thermo base over the egg and place it in the strainer.
    3. Dip the strainer in boiling water for a few seconds. As soon as the thermal sticker "hugs" it, pull it out.

    Twelfth: holiday outfit

As one of the most important Easter symbols, the egg requires a matching outfit. Until now, we talked about its color, but you can do it differently. It is enough to wrap a boiled egg with bright foil. Voila! And it's in the spotlight. And additionally it will be adorned with an exquisite decoration.

    1. Boil the eggs.
    2. Cut the multi-colored foil (sold in stationery stores) into rectangular pieces large enough to wrap the egg.
    3. Prepare decor items or just use confetti.
    4. Wrap the cooled eggs in foil. Glue the decor to them.

    Flight of fantasy

If the standard traditional ways of dyeing eggs seem boring and monotonous, let your fantasy fly and follow it like a white rabbit.

Thirteenth: the power of the rainbow

This method is a variation of food coloring. The combination of colors, the depth of painting, the number of layers ... All this is selected individually. Therefore, such dyes are 100% original. However, in order for the eggs to turn out like in the picture, you need high-quality dyes that give rich colors. You need to breed them following the instructions. Another tip: you need to start with light colors, gradually resorting to the help of darker and darker ones, and end with the darkest ones.

    1. Boil the eggs.
    2. Take one and paint it completely the lightest color.
    3. Dip the colored egg in the paint a shade darker, but not completely, but halfway.
    4. Wait for the paint to pick up. Then drain it.
    5. Then do the same, applying paint in layers.

    Fourteenth: eggs "on the style"

Easter, originally a religious holiday, is now more secular. Therefore, eggs are painted not only traditionally in red or a pattern corresponding to the holiday is applied, but they also approach this lesson in a simpler and more creative way. For example, eggs will look stylish if you pattern them with a permanent marker. You can come up with a coloring yourself or get ideas from the Internet.

    1. Boil the eggs, be sure to hard-boiled.
    2. Place them on their coasters and apply the chosen pattern with a permanent marker.
    3. After finishing work, let it dry. This will take about an hour.

    Fifteenth: stencil work

This method is relatively traditional. We find a stencil, apply it to the egg, paint it with natural or food coloring. The flight of imagination should manifest itself in the choice of a stencil. Here everyday experience, information from books, magazines, the Internet can come to the rescue. Or maybe you have family symbols. The main thing to remember is that the chosen color and stencil must be in harmony with each other.

    1. Choose a drawing for the stencil.
    2. Apply it to ultra-thin paper (tracing paper).
    3. Dampen the paper just enough so that it becomes pliable and can easily be applied to the egg.
    4. Fix the attached stencil firmly on the egg with a nylon stocking or bandage (gauze).
    5. When the preparation for coloring the eggs is complete, do it in any way: onion skins, food coloring. Only if the eggs are painted with onion skins do not need to be boiled first. And if a method of coloring with food coloring is chosen, then they must be pre-cooked "hard-boiled".
    6. Remove the fixing material and stencils from the finished cooled eggs.

    Sixteenth: marble effect

Artistic flair will be needed for those who decide to paint the eggs in a marble color. This is not difficult to do. The main thing is to choose colors beautifully and purchase high-quality dyes.

    1. Boil the eggs.
    2. Color them in a light-colored dye: yellow, orange, blue. Let dry.
    3. Dilute in a deep narrow container (in a glass, a tea cup) a dark dye: purple, brown, dark blue. Add 1 teaspoon to each cup of dark solution. vegetable oil. Stir until the spoonful of oil breaks up into many small oil droplets.
    4. Dip light dyes in dark dye. It is ideal to do this once.
    5. Let dry. Marble eggs are ready!

Decorating options for ready-made colored eggs

If the simple coloring of eggs is not enough and the soul asks for an artistic continuation, choose one of the proposed options. Turn your paint job into a work of art!

    17th: 3D decor

Time consuming enough, but worth it. To decorate eggs, you will need a wax or paraffin candle, as well as a variety of cereals, small pasta, pastry sprinkles and whatever else your heart desires.

    1. Take the finished paint.
    2. Light a candle and apply a pattern to it with molten wax (paraffin). Do this very carefully. The flame should not touch the shell, otherwise a gray soot mark may remain.
    3. Roll the egg in the material of your choice. You can also put decorative elements on the adhesive base with your hands.
    4. When the work is dry, you can grease the decorated surface with vegetable oil for a more presentable look.

    Eighteenth: sugar lace

Eggs in voluminous lace are very stylish, festive and go well with any traditional pattern on the dye. To make them, you need powdered sugar (about a glass) and water. If powdered sugar is not at hand, you can make it yourself. This requires granulated sugar and a coffee grinder.

    1. Slowly pour water into the icing sugar so that you get a white mass with a thick consistency.
    2. Place the decorative sugar mass in a pastry syringe.
    3. Take the finished paint.
    4. Apply a pattern to it.
    5. Let dry.

    Nineteenth: decoupage technique

In order for a picture to appear on the dye, it is not necessary to apply a thermal sticker on it or transfer the pattern from the fabric. You can remember the decoupage technique. It is designed to decorate not only plates and furniture, but can also be transferred to the plane of Easter decor. To do this, we will have to use beautiful napkins or their elements and gelatinous glue. To prepare the glue, gelatin is soaked according to the instructions on the package. Then the excess moisture is poured off and heated, not boiling until the granules are dissolved.

    1. Take a nice napkin. Pull out the interesting fragment with your hands (without using scissors). Remove the top layer and we will use it.

    2. Prepare your gelatin glue.
    3. Apply the selected fragment to the paint.
    4. Apply gelatinous glue over the napkin with a brush. This should be done from the center to the edges.
    5. Let dry.

    Twentieth: drapani

Colored eggs with a white pattern can be made and not only by overlaying a stencil. The pattern can be scratched onto the surface of an egg-dyed egg with a utility knife or a thick, sharp needle. This method is laborious, but it is applicable when it is planned to make a delicate graceful pattern on the egg, which is difficult to achieve by overlaying a stencil.

    1. Make a dye with onion peel.
    2. Draw a pattern on it with a simple pencil. You can do without it if you feel confident or your hand is full.
    3. Follow the line drawn with a pencil with a clerical knife, scratching the outline.

Easter is a family holiday that gives hope for the future and faith in a miracle. Touch and you to a piece of beauty - choose the method you like and paint the eggs for the Easter table. There is only one drawback in dyeing eggs according to the described methods. It can turn out so beautiful that it will be a pity to eat!
