Gradually add two cups flour and a small spoonful of baking powder. Melt the lard. It will take six large spoons of fat. Stir everything together. The dough should be smooth and elastic. Put it in a bag and leave in the refrigerator for half an hour. Then take it out, divide it into small balls. Form a small cookie on the lard from each. Cut a packet of margarine into small pieces. Add a large spoonful of orange peel, a packet of vanillin and a glass of sugar to the fat. Mix everything thoroughly. The optimum temperature is one hundred and eighty degrees.

Sift two heaped glasses of flour and add a little salt. Cut two hundred grams of warm lard into small pieces. Chop everything together with a knife to make a small crumb. Add two yolks and quickly form a dough. Form a ball out of it and leave in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Then roll out the dough. The layer should be no more than 4 mm. Cut the dough into circles. Grease the tins with butter. Make lard cookies. The photo shows how thick the dough should be. The excess must be cut off.

Pierce the products in several places, fill with dry peas. Otherwise, the dough will bulge during baking. It takes about fifteen minutes to cook the products. Preparation:

Cooking steps

Add the lard to the sifted flour and, with quick movements, rub with your hands so that the fat does not have time to melt. You should get a crumb, in which you need to add sour cream and knead a soft dough.

Collect the dough into a ball and, wrapped in cling film, place in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Roll out the cooled dough between two sheets of parchment into a layer 0.5 cm thick.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cut figures out of the rolled dough using cookie cutters. Put the cookies on a baking sheet covered with parchment and put in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Roll hot biscuits in powdered sugar on all sides.

Step by step description:

  1. Place the softened pork lard, crystalline sugar and chicken eggs in a bowl for making the dough;
  2. Beat the mixture until smooth. For these purposes, it is very convenient to use a mixer, it copes with this task in a matter of minutes;
  3. Next, add sifted flour, vanilla and soda to the resulting mass. Substitute for loose dough that does not stick to your hands. If there is not enough flour, add a little more;
  4. Put the cooked dough in the refrigerator for half an hour. Chilled dough is much easier to work with;
  5. After half an hour, start forming the cookies. To do this, simply tear off a piece of dough and roll a small ball out of it, and then slightly flatten it in your palms. Repeat the same steps with the rest of the test;
  6. Place the formed product on a baking sheet, leaving 1-1.5 cm of free space between them, since during baking the cookies will increase in size. Bake shortbread cookies in the oven for 25 minutes at a temperature of 200 0 С;

  • chicken eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • sugar - 150 g;
  • baking soda - ½ tsp;
  • duck lard - 180 g;
  • finely ground salt - a pinch;
  • vanilla extract - ½ tsp

Cooking time: 1 hour

Preparation:

  1. Mix flour with salt, soda and vanilla extract;
  2. Duck lard has a delicate consistency, so it does not need preliminary softening. Just mash it with sugar and eggs;

  4. Cover the baking tray with parchment in advance. Pass the chilled dough through a meat grinder (with a wire rack), forming a product of the required size and shape;

Ingredients:

  • fresh eggs - 1 pc.;
  • lard - 5-6 tablespoons;
  • cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons;
  • high-quality flour - 500 g;
  • granulated sugar - ½ tbsp.;
  • baking soda - 1 tsp;
  • table vinegar 9% - 1 tablespoon

Cooking time: 60 min.

Step by step description:

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix the cocoa powder and sugar thoroughly. Then add a fresh egg to them and beat with a whisk;
  2. Add softened lard, soda quenched with vinegar to the prepared mass and mix thoroughly;
  3. Pre-sift the flour, and then add to the rest of the ingredients. Knead the dough, shape it into a ball, tie it into a bag and put it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes;
