But how else can you cook our beloved raw smoked sausage if you are tired of sandwiches? Raw smoked sausage is perfect for making stews. Now we will tell you how easy and simple to cook delicious stew, which will not take much time and will definitely please everyone who loves meat.

The protagonist of our dish is the uncooked smoked sausage "Moskovskaya" produced by Nõo Lihavürst. It is a high meat sausage made from both pork and beef and smoked with natural alder flakes. A good raw smoked sausage should be firm and just bursting with meat. And raw smoked sausage "Moskovskaya" from Nõo Lihavürst meets all these criteria.

To make a stew, you will also need beans, chickpeas, paprika, thyme and, of course, tomato sauce... Season the stew with a little salt and pepper, or serve with a fresh, crispy ciabatta. If you prefer spicy food, you can add chopped chili peppers to the stew.

First fry the sausage pieces and only then add the other ingredients. Simmer a little in a pan and the stew is done. Garnish with the remaining paprika and thyme before serving. Cut off a thick slice of ciabatta for a hearty and tasty stew to serve.

Ingredients

  • Raw smoked sausage "Moskovskaya" from Nõo Lihavürst
  • Tomato sauce (you can use a ready-made mixture of beans and chickpeas in a red sauce)
  • Paprika
  • Thyme
  • Pepper
  • Ciabatta for serving

Preparation

  1. Slice Nõo Lihavürst Raw Smoked Moskovskaya sausage into cubes of the appropriate size.
  2. Fry the cubes lightly in a skillet.
  3. Add tomato sauce or prepared mixture.
  4. Place the red beans and chickpeas, and the chopped paprika in the skillet.
  5. Fry the mixture in a skillet for a few minutes.
  6. Season with a little salt and pepper.
  7. Add thyme to garnish.
  8. Serve with ciabatta.

Pour into a saucepan or wok vegetable oil and put on fire. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Place the onion in a skillet and fry lightly.

Peel the carrots, cut into circles or semicircles. Put in a frying pan and fry with the onion, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.

Cut the courgette into medium pieces. Pepper seeds, cut into medium cubes. Add zucchini, beans, peppers and peas to the vegetables and sausage. Mix everything well and simmer under the lid for 5-7 minutes, stir occasionally.

Cut the tomatoes into medium pieces and add to the vegetables, salt everything and mix well. Simmer covered for 5 minutes.

Wash greens, chop finely. Peel the garlic, crush with a knife. Add herbs and garlic to vegetables, mix everything well. Cover vegetable stew with sausage and remove from heat. Let it brew for 15 minutes.
