Frozen garlic arrows for the future for the winter - 3 ways

Of course, we cannot ignore the recipes for harvesting garlic arrows for future use in order to use them in winter.

Common garlic (Allium sativum L.)- a perennial herbaceous bulbous plant of the lily family with flat linear leaves with small flowers collected in umbrellas. The healing properties of this plant were known even to the Sumerians, who around 2300 BC. began to be used to relieve fever, treat tumors and poisoning. The ancient Egyptians widely used it to prevent and treat infectious diseases in slaves employed in the construction of the pyramids. Legionnaires and gladiators of Ancient Rome actively used it to increase their strength in military campaigns and gladiatorial battles, and Claudius Galen, using garlic in his balm, achieved full recovery of wounded gladiators.

Avicenna considered it a remedy for all diseases. Western medicine has also drawn attention to the medicinal properties of garlic. But a truly scientific study of the healing properties of garlic began only in the 70s of our century.

The name of garlic reflects all the taste properties: "burning", spicy. The characteristic pungent taste and strong odor due to the essential oil determine the nutritional use of garlic. In addition to the essential oil, consisting of sulfur compounds, garlic contains nitrogenous substances, alliin glycoside, phytosterols, metal salts, vitamins C (10 mg%), B, B, PP, E, A, many trace elements, of which are extremely important for the body zinc, selenium, germanium. Moreover, the most powerful components in their effect were found not in fresh, but in cold-aged garlic.

Healing properties garlic have been known to man since ancient times. They tried to treat all known ailments with garlic - and it must be said that in a fairly large percentage of cases this brought a certain result.

For example, if you do not have a completely healthy heart, any doctor will certainly prescribe you preparations containing potassium, among other medicines, vitamin-mineral complexes for vascular disorders, calcium is recommended for colds, and iron for anemia.

It is enough to return to the previous section to see: all these substances are contained in garlic.

But you should start with something else: garlic is the strongest disinfectant that affects viruses, carriers of diseases, no matter how it enters the body. Moreover, the disinfecting effect of sulfides (sulfur compounds) is enhanced by the presence of allicin in garlic, which, as mentioned earlier, can be considered as a fairly strong antibiotic.

Among other types of beneficial effects of garlic on the human body, the following should be mentioned in the first place:

  • garlic improves blood circulation,
  • stimulates the heart
  • removes sludge
  • improves general tone,
  • contributes to the maintenance of performance.

At the same time, garlic has a positive effect on the composition of the blood and the condition of blood vessels, saturates with vitamins and salts of rare metals, that is, the action is complex.

Special mention should be made of the benefits that the regular use of garlic gives in food for severe and chronic diseases of the cardiovascular system.

At the end of the last century, the University of Pennsylvania (USA) issued a special bulletin, which is entitled: "Garlic reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease." Studies conducted by American scientists have shown that garlic lowers blood cholesterol. Recall that cholesterol plaques in atherosclerosis are the main reason that the lumen of the vessels narrows and serious circulatory disorders occur, which can ultimately lead to such serious diseases as myocardial infarction, stroke, etc.

Folk healers have long known about the "anti-cholesterol" effect of garlic, but now scientific medicine, based on experimental data, claims: yes, thanks to the regular use of fresh garlic or preparations based on it, the level of blood cholesterol in some cases decreases by 12-16%.

However, the benefits of garlic do not end there. One of the most important uses of garlic - both in everyday life, and in folk, and in clinical medicine - is its powerful preventive effect.

Probably everyone knows that during an epidemic outbreak of influenza or SARS, increased consumption of garlic can protect you from infection - volatile viruses, having met with garlic phytoncides, die on the fly.

However, not everyone knows that garlic can prevent such “diseases of the century” as permanent stress or chronic fatigue syndrome.

A distinctive feature of garlic is the ability of the elements of its chemical composition to quickly combine with organic substances, which provides a high preventive effect.

One should not forget that the amount of compounds formed by garlic directly depends on the state of the plant itself: an untouched, whole head is practically neutral, but after mechanical processing (for example, pureed, crushed or simply chopped garlic not only contains the already mentioned useful substances (minerals , organic acids, pectins, vitamins), but many compounds are sharply activated in it - sulfur and others, therefore, most recipes indicate that it is desirable to prepare fresh preparations from garlic before each use.

First of all, it should be noted that for centuries the tested and simplest remedy is to simply eat half the average size of a head of garlic once a day.

  • 250 g of minced garlic per 0.5 l of 70% alcohol. Insist in a warm place for two weeks. Take 20 drops (in milk or water) three times a day.
  • Cut 1 kg of garlic, pour a liter of boiled water, close with a nylon lid, leave for 30 days and take a tablespoon for 0.5 cups of milk half an hour before meals with outbreaks of colds, in autumn and spring. The tincture also cleanses the body of lime deposits, improves eyesight, prevents sclerosis, angina pectoris, heart attack, stroke, prevents the formation of tumors, and rejuvenates the body as a whole.
  • Leave the crushed head of garlic overnight in a glass of curdled milk. Means to drink in small portions throughout the next day.
  • Grate 2-3 heads of garlic and the same amount of lemons on a fine grater, pour one liter of boiled water and leave for two days. 1/2 st. l. infusion dilute U 2 tbsp. water, taken three times a day, before meals. Aqueous and alcoholic extracts of garlic lower blood pressure, increase the strength of heart contractions.
  • Mix equal amounts of chopped garlic and honey (based on 2-3 weeks of intake). Take a teaspoon twice a day (morning and evening), half an hour before meals.
  • Chop 200 g of garlic, pour 0.5 l of vodka and insist in a dark place for at least two weeks. After this period - strain and add the juice of 5-6 lemons. Take a tablespoon in half a glass of boiled water three times a day before meals.

Ways to use

By technological processing of garlic, the sulfur-containing compound ajoene was isolated. It has a strong anticoagulant effect, inhibits the growth of pathogenic fungi. Numerous studies confirm the anticancer activity of ajoene in tumors of the stomach and bladder. It is now known that garlic contains more than 100 sulfur-containing components with special healing properties.

Another sulfur-containing compound in garlic, S-allyl-cysteine, lowers blood cholesterol, especially triglycerides, which play a major role in the development of atherosclerosis. Japanese scientists have developed a garlic compound that has a protective effect against liver damage.

Preparations from garlic have become indispensable for diseases of coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular accident and others.

For obese, lethargic people suffering from shortness of breath: mix 400 g of crushed garlic with the juice of 2-4 lemons, pour into a jar with a wide mouth, tie with gauze and leave for 2-4 days. Take 1 time before bedtime 1 teaspoon of the mixture with 1/2 cup of water. Shake before use. After 10-14 days, fatigue will disappear, a good dream will appear.

One of the most effective properties of garlic is its antibacterial action. There is an opinion that during the period of catarrhal epidemics, it is enough to put a necklace of garlic cloves around the child’s neck, and it will protect against pathogenic viruses and bacteria.

Garlic syrup is prepared for diseases of the upper respiratory tract, hoarseness, sore throat.

Pass 10-12 heads of garlic through a meat grinder. Fill the jar with thin layers of the resulting mass and layers of sugar, laid out alternately. Hold on for two days. Strain through a cloth. Take as you would any cough syrup.

Put a few heads of minced garlic in a clean glass jar and pour liquid honey at room temperature. Insist for a day. Take for sore throats, bronchitis, cough every half an hour to an hour for a teaspoon.

Cold sandwiches. Pour boiling water over two lemons, grate. In the resulting mass, add the head of garlic, also rubbed. Stir, add 200 g of butter, which, when softened, would be good to beat with a mixer. It is also good to serve tea brewed on herbs with such sandwiches.

For the prevention of flu and colds, garlic drops instilled into the nose will help. Grind some garlic, squeeze out the juice, add 10 parts of water, the drops are ready.

From colds, bronchitis and pneumonia will help garlic plaster. Grind 5-8 cloves of garlic to a paste. Lay out a layer on a sheet of loose (blotter, napkin) paper and attach the patch with the paper side to the chest, cover with a thicker cloth on top, and then with napkins. Keep no more than 20 minutes.

Or you can just sniff. In a small vial (it is possible from under the medicines), the main thing is that the neck is not wide, finely chopped garlic is placed, closed with a lid. Do 10-15 breaths and exhalations. Then a break.

Garlic is effective for intestinal disorders. Garlic has excellent choleretic properties, the drug allohol, which includes garlic, is widely used. Japanese scientists testify to the ability of garlic to remove various toxic substances from the body through the intestines, in particular salts of heavy metals - lead, mercury, cadmium and other harmful substances.

Prepare a mixture of 1 liter of honey, juice of 10 lemons and 10 heads of grated garlic. Leave for a week in a closed jar. Take 4 teaspoons once a day, but not immediately, but slowly, slowly, one spoon after another. Don't skip days. This amount is enough for 2 months.

Garlic is also effective for less serious problems. Garlic boiled with milk accelerates the ripening of boils and softens painful calluses. Warts, lichen, eczema, and other skin diseases are treated with fresh gruel or garlic juice.

With dry corns and warts, you need to apply chopped raw garlic at night, covering it with sterile gauze or a cotton glove and fixing it all with a band-aid.

For fungal infections, try a hot garlic compress. Mix 3-6 cloves of minced garlic with 0.5 liters of hot water, then add another 0.5 liters of boiling water. Let the mixture cool so that it does not burn, soak a cloth in it and apply it to the affected area of the skin. Keep the compress moist and hot by pouring the hot garlic mixture over it. For each subsequent compress, a fresh mixture should be prepared.

To strengthen the hair, the juice is rubbed into the skin.

Garlic can replace iodine for small cuts. The ancient Greeks considered garlic an indispensable remedy for the bite of poisonous snakes. The Slavs in the ancient and Middle Ages also used it for snake venom, so they called garlic "snake grass". In cooking, garlic is added to salads, borscht, and sauces are prepared. Eaten fresh, pickled or salted.

We suggest cooking garlic caviar. To do this, crush 1 head of garlic with salt, add 1/2 cup of walnut kernels and crush again; soak a slice of white bread in water, squeeze, mix with garlic and nuts. Beat the resulting mass with a wooden spoon until puree is formed, adding 3-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add lemon juice, vinegar to the puree, place on a plate and garnish with olives.

How to store garlic?

Pickled garlic. Put the heads of garlic in cold water for three days, changing it 2-3 times a day. Then divide the garlic into cloves, rinse and put in sterilized jars. In each jar, drop 1 bay leaf and 5 peas of allspice (or cloves). Prepare the marinade: for 0.5 l of water - 3 tbsp. spoons of granulated sugar and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of salt, boil. Add to each jar 3 tbsp. tablespoons of vinegar, immediately pour boiling marinade and close the lids. Keep refrigerated.

Peel the garlic, pass through a meat grinder, put in a glass jar and pour vegetable oil. Such garlic seasoning can be stored for 2-3 years. Close the top with a plastic lid.

In autumn, dry the garlic well, put the heads in a saucepan or in glass jars.

Fill the pot to the top with dry salt. Top tie with a cotton cloth, but in any case not a lid. The salt needs to "breathe". You can put the container in any place. You can fall asleep not with salt, but with millet - garlic is also well preserved all winter and does not dry out.

An excellent marinade or seasoning is obtained from the arrows of garlic. It is necessary to break them off not overripe, so that they are not tough.

garlic treatment

For therapeutic purposes, freshly picked garlic should be used, since the antibacterial effect of garlic stored in the refrigerator for four months is reduced by about half compared to freshly picked garlic.

Garlic stored at room temperature completely loses its volatile properties after eight months.

In folk medicine, for therapeutic purposes, decoctions and infusions are prepared from garlic leaves, and garlic bulbs are taken fresh, boiled, steamed, baked, stewed, fried and burnt. But the most commonly used tincture of peeled bulbs.

Garlic inhalation

Crushed garlic aerosol inhalations are effective in the treatment of exacerbations of chronic pneumonia, chronic bronchitis, and in combination with vitamin A they are used to improve the functional state of the bronchial mucosa in occupational dust bronchitis.

Studies conducted by domestic scientists in the middle of the last century made it possible to establish that volatile garlic phytoncides kill staphylococci, streptococci, typhoid bacteria, dysentery bacillus, putrefactive bacteria and many other pathogenic microorganisms in the first minutes of experiments. Already a 15-minute exposure to an aqueous extract of garlic weakens the tubercle bacillus, and after 30 minutes it dies or undergoes drastic changes.

Disease prevention. To protect against mosquito bites, you should sleep in rooms whose doors and windows are covered with a net; when going outside, dress in such a way that your arms and legs are covered; persons traveling to epidemically unfavorable zones for malaria should undergo chemoprophylaxis.

Garlic-based preparations

It must be said right away that fresh garlic in itself is a wonderful medicine. The same applies to freshly made juice or gruel. But for the treatment of certain diseases, traditional medicine recommends using several more varieties of garlic-based dosage forms. Their recipe and method of preparation, we bring to your attention below.

Decoction

Pour two glasses of water into an enameled container and put on low heat. When the water begins to boil, add a teaspoon of finely chopped garlic and boil for 5-7 minutes. Then remove from heat and leave for at least an hour and a half, then strain through cheesecloth. The decoction is ready.

It should be taken two, maximum three times a day, at least 5 hours apart. Garlic broth is prepared fresh every time, immediately before use, as it loses its healing qualities during storage.

Infusion

Finely chopped garlic cloves pour boiling water, tightly close the container with a lid and wrap it. Infuse in this form should be until the infusion cools to room temperature, after which it is necessary to carefully strain through several layers of gauze.

Ointment

Ointments with garlic should be liquid - they are used mainly for rubbing, although it is also possible to use them in the form of compresses. Oil preparations are especially good in the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, arthritis, injuries, sprains and muscle pain, as well as certain skin diseases.

Preparation: Peel and finely crush 5-7 large cloves of garlic in a wooden mortar. Transfer the resulting mass to a glass container, add two cups of apple cider vinegar, half a glass of vodka and mix the mixture thoroughly. Then it should be infused for at least two weeks in a cool place, stirring at least three times a day. After this period, the mass must be filtered, add a tablespoon of eucalyptus oil to it and mix well again.

The resulting product is stored in the refrigerator for up to a month, without losing its medicinal properties.

Garlic for inhalation

Crush a few cloves of garlic, place the mass in an enameled container and pour a little water. Put on low heat and heat until abundant steam comes out, but at least twenty minutes. Then the liquid must be cooled so as not to burn yourself with too hot steam.

The procedure itself is carried out according to the usual method: covering your head with a towel, bend over the container and inhale the steam. The duration of garlic inhalation should not exceed fifteen minutes.

Oil candles with garlic

Mix freshly prepared garlic gruel with hot butter in a ratio of approximately 3: 1 and pour into pre-prepared foil molds in the form of cones. Place in the refrigerator to set the mixture. Candles are used in the treatment of hemorrhoids and certain gynecological diseases.

Powder

To prepare homemade garlic powder, peeled garlic cloves are crushed and then dried. Best of all - just in the air, at room temperature, but you can also (at a low temperature) in the oven.

Dry garlic then needs to be ground into powder with a coffee grinder or in a wooden mortar, as our great-grandfathers did.

Garlic powder is well stored (in a dry, cool place), and it is easy to prepare a wide variety of dosage forms from it - but it should be borne in mind that when dried, and especially when exposed to heat, garlic loses its medicinal qualities to a certain extent.

Vinegar

Peel three to five (depending on size) garlic cloves and pour three cups of apple cider vinegar on them (you can also use wine, but apple cider vinegar is healthier). Cover the container with a lid and infuse for two weeks. After this period, strain the product.

Garlic vinegar is not used very often to treat diseases, but as a cosmetic remedy for removing warts and corns, it is simply irreplaceable.

Pharmacy forms

Official medicine recognizes the healing properties of garlic. Everyone is familiar with such a wonderful drug as allohol - and in fact it practically consists of a dry extract of garlic. In addition, dosage forms such as gelatin capsules with garlic powder or oil and garlic tablets are available in pharmacies. Tablets compare favorably with capsules in that they are not afraid of heat, however, in terms of the strength of the therapeutic effect, they are still significantly inferior to them. Very approximately, we can say that three tablets are equivalent to one capsule.

In recent years, new "garlic" medicines have appeared: alisate is recommended for atherosclerosis, and allicor is a good adjuvant in the treatment of hypertension.

Baths

Garlic baths are a highly effective, time-tested remedy for many diseases. The indications for this procedure are very extensive, and even if it is not possible to completely cure this disease with garlic baths alone, the patient always feels much better after them.

By the nature of the baths are cold and hot, sedentary and recumbent, short-term and long-term.

To prepare a garlic bath, you can use different methods: either a special decoction of garlic is prepared, or peeled garlic is placed in advance on the bottom of the bath, wrapped in a soft cloth or linen bag. The optimum water temperature for such a bath should be about 35 ° C. Garlic bath calms the nervous system well, especially if garlic is combined with mint leaves.

Chop about 12-20 cloves of garlic, place in an enameled container of sufficient volume, pour five liters of boiling water. Boil for about half an hour, then insist for 8-10 hours. Heat the resulting infusion to 40 "C and pour into the bath, bringing it to the desired volume. For a lying bath, the ratio of decoction and water should be 1:10, for a sitting bath - 3:7.

Indications:

  • with disorders of the nervous system,
  • colds,
  • inflammatory processes,
  • gallstone disease,
  • with itching and many skin pathologies,
  • as a general cleanser.

Sedentary garlic baths are especially indicated for back pain, radiculitis, but they also help with migraines, thyroid dysfunction, insomnia, and digestive disorders.

If this is a cold type bath, it should be taken for no more than a minute; in a warm garlic sitz bath, you can stay for 10 to 15 minutes, at a water temperature of 32-35 ”C. A warm bath should be applied twice a day - in the morning and in the evening. After a warm bath, rub the skin with a towel to a slight redness.

With varicose veins, insomnia, migraine, high blood pressure, contrast garlic baths help well, with a sharp change in temperature. Start with a hot bath by soaking your feet in it for about two minutes. Then they are moved to a cold one - for no more than 30 seconds. Then again a hot bath, etc. The procedure should last at least 20 minutes, with a tenfold change of hot and cold water. Finish by dousing the feet with cold water, after which you should immediately put on woolen socks.

Elixir of youth

We give here the recipe for the "elixir of youth", which came to us from ancient times, but remains very popular today. This recipe for rejuvenation was compiled in ancient times by ancient Tibetan healers.

Squeeze the juice from 350 grams of garlic and mix with 300 grams of pure alcohol. Place this mixture in a container with a tight-fitting lid and leave for ten days in a cold place. Then strain through 2-3 layers of gauze or a rare fabric, and leave for another three days, after which the product is ready.

Take with cold milk (50 grams of milk per dose), according to the scheme below, reflecting the number of drops per dose by day of the course.

Reception day

In cosmetics

For acne

Take seven parts of vodka and two parts of garlic juice or finely grated gruel and mix well. Store the mixture in the refrigerator, but before each use, the required amount should be warmed to room temperature.

Lubricate the affected areas of the skin with the product, cover the top with a bandage or a clean cloth and leave it until a feeling of warmth appears (but no more than 10 minutes!).

For acne

Apply fresh gruel from several cloves of garlic to the affected area, like a mask, and hold for up to 10 (but no more) minutes.

This tool must be prepared every time immediately before use.

From warts

Grate or crush the garlic into a gruel, add honey in the ratio of 1 part honey to two parts gruel. Put the resulting mixture on the wart and secure with a band-aid. It is better to do this at night, daily, until the complete disappearance of warts.

You can also just drip fresh garlic juice on the wart often.

From calluses

Do not chop the garlic, but cut the clove lengthwise and attach it to the corn, fixing it with a band-aid. Such a "compress" needs to be changed often - up to three times a day. As a rule, corns soften significantly after a week, and they can be easily removed.

Another recipe is to boil a couple of cloves of garlic in milk, mash and apply to the corn overnight, securing with a bandage or plaster. Do it daily, at least five days (preferably a week).

With furunculosis

With constant ingestion, garlic has a positive effect on the blood and metabolic processes. Both the occurrence of acne and the formation of a rather serious disease, furunculosis, are associated with metabolic disorders. The remedy proposed below will help well both with single boils and multiple ones (which is called furunculosis).

Soak a strip of soft natural fabric with vegetable oil (preferably olive) and then rub with well-chopped garlic. The resulting bandage is applied to the boil and attached with a bandage. These dressings are changed twice a day - in the morning and in the evening. Under the influence of garlic, the boil opens, and the pus gets out. After opening the abscess, the patient immediately feels better.

There is another recipe, an old one: put on a sore spot a compress of gruel (take at least three cloves) of garlic, mixed with sour cream in a ratio of 2: 1. You can keep such a compress from one to one and a half hours, but not more than two.

From hair loss

Mix a tablespoon of aloe juice with a tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of freshly squeezed garlic juice. Before washing your hair, prepare a decoction: horsetail, chamomile and nettle - all herbs in a tablespoon of dry chopped raw materials, per liter of water, boil for 30 minutes. Rub the garlic mixture into the hair roots with light circular movements, then wrap your head with a warm, soft towel and hold for 10 minutes. Then you should wash your hair with a neutral shampoo, rinse with water, and finally rinse well with herbal decoction.

From dandruff

Prepare garlic gruel and rub it into the hair roots an hour before washing your hair. After that, thoroughly wash your hair with soap (preferably for children).

Attention! Before starting treatment with garlic, you need to make sure that you are not allergic to it. The consultation of the attending physician will not hurt either: garlic is contraindicated not only for allergies to it and pregnancy, but also for certain diseases, primarily kidney pathology.

To cure ringworm, it is advised to mix some crushed garlic with warm honey and apply it on the ringworm.

Lichen

Another recipe: cut a clove of garlic and grease the affected area with the cut part. Then rub in a mixture of birch charcoal and plantain juice prepared in a ratio of 1:1.

Eczema

Garlic "recipe of traditional medicine for this disease is to apply a cloth soaked in garlic oil, alternating them with compresses of grated garlic with olive oil. Eczema may not go away completely, but it will be much less disturbing.

Hives

With it, garlic compresses are also effective: they relieve itching well. However, this remedy cannot eliminate the cause of the disease - therefore, for any allergic manifestations (which include urticaria), a doctor's consultation is necessary.

Insect bites and small wounds

Take a slice of unpeeled cucumber, a clove of garlic and a handful of wheat flour. Crush all this in a mortar and put the resulting cake on a sore spot. As a rule, the itching stops almost immediately, and during the night the wound is cleared and is already living.

Colds and respiratory viral diseases of the upper respiratory tract (ARVI, influenza)

The first remedy for a cold is garlic with honey. Grind the garlic into a pulp, mix with honey (melted or preferably May) in a ratio of 1: 1 and take a tablespoon of the product three times a day - before meals, drinking water or milk, until the condition is relieved.

In case of a cold, it is useful to lubricate the inflamed tonsils with freshly squeezed garlic juice, diluted in a ratio of 1: 1 with warm boiled water. The feeling is unpleasant, but it helps well and quickly.

Do not use pure juice - this can cause burns to the mucous membrane.

Inhalations. Pour garlic tincture with water, bring to a boil, then pour into a wide bowl (preferably glass or enameled). Cover your head with a towel, bend over to the container and inhale the steam for five to six minutes. The tool helps not only with colds, but also relieves chest pain with a strong cough or chronic diseases (bronchitis, pneumonia).

After this procedure, it is absolutely necessary to take a warm shower, thoroughly washing away the remnants of garlic juice under it with soap.

Applications. Lubricate the chest or back liberally with vegetable oil and distribute finely chopped garlic evenly over the entire area. The duration of such a procedure should not exceed ten, at most fifteen minutes.

If the skin is too sensitive, you can put garlic not directly on it, but on an oil-soaked bandage.

With angina. The following remedy is recommended: grind 8 to 10 cloves of garlic until a homogeneous mass is obtained, pour it with half a glass of apple cider vinegar, mix thoroughly and infuse overnight. In the morning, add a tablespoon of hot buckwheat honey to the mixture and stir.

Keep a tablespoon of the product in your mouth until completely dissolved. Drink hot milk with a small amount of baking soda.

Repeat up to five times a day until noticeable relief occurs.

Recipe: put half a glass of peeled and finely chopped fresh garlic in an enameled container and pour fresh honey so as to completely cover the garlic. Put on a small fire and stir constantly. After about half an hour, all the garlic will dissolve - after that, insist the remedy for an hour, then bring it to a boil again.

The resulting remedy is taken in courses of two weeks - twice a day (in the morning and at night), before meals, one teaspoonful, washed down with water or better with milk.

When coughing. Boil finely chopped garlic (one head) in fresh milk until it becomes completely soft. Grind in the same milk, add mint juice and two tablespoons of linden honey. Take a tablespoon every hour throughout the day.

With otitis (inflammation of the middle ear). Apply a little garlic liquid ointment on a cotton turunda (the method of its preparation was described in the corresponding section) and lay it as deep as possible into the external auditory canal. Then tie a warm scarf on top. You can keep up to one hour. At the same time, it is advisable to drink vitamin mixtures or at least just a decoction of rose hips.

For any inflammatory processes in the nasopharynx, garlic oil is an excellent remedy. Cooking method: Peel two heads of fresh garlic, crush into gruel (preferably in a wooden mortar). Transfer the resulting mass into a glass container, pour 150 g of olive oil and mix thoroughly.

Infuse in a warm place for at least a week, stirring two to three times daily. The finished oil should be carefully filtered through several layers of gauze and stored in the refrigerator, in a dark glass container, preferably with a tight stopper. Shelf life - no more than two months.

Atherosclerosis

A few words about atherosclerosis - this is a very widespread and dangerous disease. The reason for its development is that under the influence of a variety of factors, fatty deposits in the form of plaques accumulate on the walls of blood vessels. The lumen of the vessel narrows, and the wall becomes less elastic. In advanced cases, the blood flow is blocked, which causes the development of such serious ailments as heart attack and stroke.

Means for cleaning blood vessels from cholesterol plaques. Grate the peeled head of garlic and one lemon (with zest), and mix until smooth. Then pour a mixture of 0.5 liters of boiled water and leave for 4-5 days; when the product is ready, it should be carefully filtered through several layers of gauze.

Hypertonic disease

With this disease (in any of its stages), traditional medicine recommends eating two crushed cloves of the most "evil" garlic daily at night. Some healers with an exacerbation of the current are also advised to eat one clove in the morning on an empty stomach.

To combat them, the use of garlic is effective. It is recommended for a week or two in the morning on an empty stomach to eat a clove of garlic without bread an hour before meals and one more in the evening - two hours after dinner. A sign of healing will be the cessation of swelling of the stomach after eating.

Note. In all cases, those people who have previously used garlic irregularly should introduce it into the diet gradually, starting with small amounts - regardless of the purpose of its use.
